Nice video and perhaps more coming. Yes Chicago is a beautiful city. Sure a American northern city that endured thru deindustrialization, white-flight all bleed wealth and still one of the Greatest downtowns in America and a clean city vs many others while not being sterile clean with few people out. The Riverwalk is a great walk locals and tourist love and still plenty of shopping vs some downtowns with little and no larger flagship stores left. The Great setting on the lakefront and parks, beaches and harbors has the city shine in summers in great weather especially. Every era the city was a rip-roaring city even in its largest boom periods like even when notorious Al Capone had its turmoil upon it and all eras. So goes Chicago so goes America. If it falls American did....

RETURN THE ELGIN MARBLES TO ATHENS GREECE. DO THE RIGHT THING UK FOR ONCE!
@ErnestTufft5 ай бұрын
I agree. Like Getty Museum in LA, BM needs to focus on making these situations a win-win situation. Greece has proven its ability to caretake its antiquities both at the archeological site and at the museum, so time to return origins and BM gets the plaster copies. Greece can send a plaster copies with some kind of 3-D movie thing on road show around the world.

I'm thinking that modern Lebanon, whose borders are very much the same as territory of ancient Phoenicia, reflects cultural pattern of the ancients. Powerful merchant economy with weak political and military institutions.

Google translation: In Detinets Park there was Ukrainian artillery - MLRS GRAD rocket launcher, which was operated by an inexperienced recruit who did not have a military education. His inaccurate shots caused significant damage to the village of Novoselovka, and also provoked retaliatory fire from Russian artillery. Unfortunately, about 30 Ukrainian tanks, more than 20 self-propelled guns, and several MLRS installations fired from the streets of Chernihiv at the Russian military, constantly changing their location, and choosing the most valuable ancient historical sites of the city for their temporary positions. Many such facts are available on KZbin, for example, the shooting of MLRS Grad from the Catherine Church, which is a provocation devoid of military necessity. There are better shooting positions in the immediate vicinity, but the Ukrainian military fired from this place, to provoke Russian retaliatory fire at ancient shrines. With this in mind, the factor of victory is not the accuracy of the Ukrainian artillery, but the reluctance of the Russian military to destroy the beautiful ancient Russian city of Chernihiv, and get involved in street battles, as the Ukrainian military planned. Russian Russians' refusal to storm the city is the only reason that the Russians withdrew from the city in 2022 - the Ukrainian military did not have any forces to hold Chernihiv. However, the war did not end there. Unfortunately for everyone.

The artifacts are magnificent thank you for sharing. I sincerely appreciate your efforts. However, I do have a question. Why did you choose classical music to accompany this video.? It takes away from the experience. I understand it’s your project and you can obviously do whatever you wish. I’m only curious.
@ErnestTufft7 ай бұрын
That's a good point, but ancient Egyptian music doesn't really exist, and the modern Middle Eastern electronic music I don't like and is just as irrelevant as classical music. I tried to pick right mood. Popularity of this video shows that my choice was good one.
