There should have been a dialogue and therefore the traps did not work on the blue circle, the lich was spammed with damage and he did not have time to teleport to the traps.

Revised it. The Lich blushed, but was far away from the traps.

Yeah, im noob but even a noob knows the only race can be dualed to another class are humans and my assassin is an Elf. My char continued to be an assassin in BG2. Check my other videos to see this assassin in BG2

@@OdivmNostrvm I can understand roleplay but you could decide y want to dual your thief and nothing stops you from using EE Keeper. On the other hand, pure assasin, interesting.

@@OdivmNostrvm on second thought, this playthrough as it stands.. amazing FUN! I might just be tempted to try using EE Keeper to turn human and dual in BG2, spells and scrolls are much more impactful and not so many items that can be abused. And as I said, this being 7 years ago, any combination had time to get done, there probably is no continuity about what was or wasn't.

In my experience it's always swapped NPCs to an alternate, but idk how consistent it is between versions. My first playthrough was on the old 5-disc set and I used Ajantis's portrait, only to get super confused on my next playthrough when he looked like my old character haha

Its from the assassin abilities (poison weapon). Blackguards (evil paladins) have the same ability. What most People don't know is that this ability can be used on ranged weapons too. You can therefore poison your arrows, throwing darts, bolts, bullets, etc. The main advantage being that it stops enemy mages from casting anything because of the tic damage on the poison. A Very strong ability.

It's possible when you know what's up. Although it's harder when you begin new game in BG2 without importing, especially mage or bard. Level lower, lower stats (there are tomes to increase stats in first game) and much fewer spells at the beginning. Bard has not enough level even for 4 level spell Stoneskin at the beginning, which is pretty crucial for spellcaster survival, especially Blade, who tend to rule melee combat with spell buffs. One way to get higher level without using any editors is to create char in Throne of Bhaal and import it to Shadows of Amn. But then your level will be much higher than it had to be after first game. Higher level - stronger enemies.

@@anatolej.deletch6321 If you're min xp for starting BG2, pickpocket spree can really help get you off the ground. If you're a bard, you can do it yourself. If you are a mage and want to adhere to "solo", it's going to be more of a grind for sure. Maybe there's an area that generates enemies that drop scrolls? I think forgetting + scribing scrolls will likely outperform most xp farming for solo runs. Non-arcane doesn't have that option at all. Thieves can abuse pickpocketing + trap pulling, and clerics can buff skelly spam at least. Fighters would be the most annoying to use at min level start solo. I guess you can tuigan bow kite some weak stuff for a bit.

@@TheMelnTeam, at the beginning there are Irenicus dungeon and none people to pickpocket. And with Blade human on hard difficulty, using blur, images, ghost armor etc. (Highest level spell - 3 at the beginning) I was still dying more often than I can remember. Even little imp was a problem. And that's even with 18 to all physical stats and "max" weapon proficiency (+3 two weapon and +1 weapons). Even with defensive spin I got hit often and with offensive one - could hit someone rarely. Pretty frustrating and boring. I mean, that's the thing with the hard difficulty but still. Especially with android version where you can die from nothing and scripts can delay their activation for god knows how long (but till troll, for example, didn't fall unconscious - it hits you hard). Some very frustrating bugs - stoneskin contingencies, for example. Infinite contingencies on one person - i was dispelling them and they were activating over and over... Breach didn't remove the stoneskin, though it should to remove all "physical" protections, so you could hit the target. Very frustrating indeed.

​@@anatolej.deletch6321 You can pickpocket the moment you leave his dungeon, robbing all the stores that allow it (or just gold looping a fence so you can buy). Don't know what's going on with your version otherwise. Bards are better as spellcasters than in melee due to their lack of APR level scaling + rogue base THAC0. You can make a bard still do okay in combat by over-leveling, using + APR gear in both main and offhand, and getting strength high. There's a reddit post that did similar with a thief, and using specialization gloves you can get to 4.5 base APR as a rogue. Bard that runs improved haste would have 9. Given you can eventually do nonsense with use any item, you can get THAC0 to reasonable levels. However, if you have all the buffs up that you care about/are cheesing into practical immunity via vhailor's etc you can cast tenser's (prevents further spellcasting, but gives you fighter THAC0 table). Shouldn't be missing anything like that, but also can't cast magic for the duration.

@@TheMelnTeam, I know the stuff, I was talking specifically about beginning. When you know where's what and what's what - it's significantly easier to play. Yet, as I've said in my original reply - you just can't have as much spells at the beginning as if you'd import your character from bg1 or SOD. I mean, game was made to play in team, but solo run is tremendously hard even on core rules. Especially with the bard (Blade are the only kit that fits I guess, cause you can't do fighting and sing altogether). Fighter/Mage is better for that matter, of course. But you can't multiclass human and dual class much harder to play, as you have to start play as a 1 level mage when you make dual class thing. That's quite odd thing, as normally you wouldn't stop to be a fighter just cause you start to learn spells. And not forget how to use weapons.

gagnashdiak x its not a mod. Sorcerer can cast 6 spells of magic missile at level 7-8. And you need the ring of Wizardry to duplicate this spells to 12. You can find this ring outside of friendly arm inn near a tree

That is because you play on easy (ie stratagems not installed). In my playthrough they summon planetar ant pit fiend and constantly use absolute imunity, stoneskin, truesight, spell protections and dispells. They also use timestop+energy blades combo.

​@@Crazmuss SCS does not make it more difficult, it just makes some fights take slightly longer. AI is still stupid and easily exploitable. If they want to make game HARDER then they need to improve AI significantly and not just change mage enemies to use predefined cheese combos which you learn after seeing them all do 100% same thing, 100% of the time, in exact same order. By same measure LOB difficulty also does not make it more difficult, unless you want to play non-caster solo, it simply makes fights take longer due to more HP to take out. So dont make it sound like SCS is some Pro version, as it is not. Ascension on the other hand does make game significantly more difficult, but for all the wrong reasons as it makes it be more like IWD and less like BG. Now if you combine Ascension, SCS and LOB you can talk about other modes being easy in comparison, but just SCS, lol, no.
