Sir i am 23 and my right rye is -3.5 and left eye is 6/6.i don't use any specs from last 8 years i got check in 8th class but i can seee clearly with one eye. Sir is it amblyopia if it is can i do lasik plss reply.

I cannot say if your right eye is having amblyopia or not since I haven't examined your eyes. You haven't mentioned what is your visual acuity in left eye. However, you may undergo LASIK. But, at your age, your spectacle power will reduce after Lasik but visual acuity is not likely to improve, if you have less vision in left eye.

@@BhaskarDeychannel sir visual acuity in my left eye is normal I can see crystal clear without specs from that but when I hide my left eye I see blurry with my right eye and when tested it was around -3.5 d in right eye. My brain over time has prefer my dominant eye I.e left eye what does it mean sir? Pllz helpp I can't understand visual acuity he checked it and write on small paper that this is your problem. I think it is anisometropic amblyopia.

@utkarshsingh6882 Now it's quite clear. You have amblyopia in right eye. So as I said earlier, after Lasik your spectacle power will reduce, but there will not be any gain in vision.

There is no hard and fast rule. I think it's better to consult an Eye Specialist and follow his instructions. I haven't examined you. So it may not be ideal to give you any advice.

I am 7 months pregnant and my right eye is severely swollen. It started around 3-4 months of pregnancy and gradually kept getting worst. I we to two ophthalmologists and noting they have given help. I also went to the emergency room because my obgyn requested I go because my right eye is swollen practically shut and in severe pain. My vision is really blurred. They gave me oral antibiotics this time and it is still not helping my eyes.

I need small help from you.😊 I was selected in state government job but rejected due to amblyopia eye and they said that you do not have binocular vision as required in this type of job I have 6/6(p) and 6/36 without glass 6/6 and 6/18(p) with glasses Sir i have only two question:---->> 1) How can we determine whether the job requires binocular vision or not? 2) All field work job absolutely require binocular vision? Jab requirement and rules vary from State to State. But there are some common rules. Like in Army, Navy, Air force, Police, Drivers etc require perfect Binocular vision, and normal Colour Vision. But for jobs that do not require Binocular vision, such as clerical job, sales personnel, etc may not require perfect Binocular vision.

It's quite possible that you have a subconjunctival hemorrhage. But it cannot be definitely said without examining your eyes. It's better to consult an Eye Doctor.

So many drugs are not advisable to use during pregnancy. Ceflox is one of them. It's cannot be used safely. It's better to ask your Obstetrician.

You should not have put Ciplox D. I think you have not consulted any Eye Specialist. D means dexamethasone which is a steroid. Only chemists give this kind of medicines. Because they do not know anything. They only know how to sell medicines. However pray for the best.

I am sorry, but without examining your eyes, it is not possible to know what is the problem. More over, you are pregnant. So it will not be wise to suggest any medicines. It may harm you and your baby. It's better that you consult and eye specialist and follow his/her advice.

You should have asked the Doctor who prescribed you these medicines. As far as my knowledge goes, Letepred T may not be harmless during pregnancy. Regarding Refresh tears, it's not all that documented. But in medical science, many a times, we weigh benefits over side effects. Otherwise, how a disease will be cured?

No, not all amblyopic patients have squinted eyes. Amblyopia can be without squint. If your age is above 15 years, there is very less chance of eyes becoming squinted.

Can't say without examining your eyes. What you say is confusing. Amblyopia doesn't occur at this age. There must be some other reason why you have blurry vision for one month. I think it's better that you get your eyes checked by an Ophthalmologist.

First of all, the correct spelling is Glaucoma. Not glucoma. This is wrong. The second point is that I have mentioned only the common eye problems associated with pregnancy. Your Glaucoma is not associated with pregnancy. It could have occured even if you were not pregnant. So, this glaucoma may not go away after child birth. Please follow the instructions given by your Doctor

Thank you for your comment. As I said in my video that there can be dimness of vision in some patients during pregnancy. But that dimness of vision is not much and it goes away after child birth. But you wrote that your vision becomes too low sometimes. That usually doesn't occur in pregnancy. So, there must be some other defect in your eyes. But again you mentioned that your Doctor said that there was no problem. This is puzzling. I may not be possible for me to give you a correct advice without examining your eyes. Hence I suggest that you consult your Eye specialist when your vision becomes very low.

Dr its been 33 days i had my c session . Already i have floaters in my eys . And i had a retinal examination just before my cs , in which dr said i am alright. But after cs now when i open my eyes to the wall i can see feathery black lines for a second then it goes away . I noticrd this wheb i opened my i eyes in the morning . Later i realized if i close my eyes with strength then open alsi i can see this. If i press my closed eye nd open to a bright wall i can see this black lines for split second .Is this any condtion that i need to worry ?

Experiencing a few floaters now and then is not so alarming. It may occur, even, in an otherwise normal eye. But floaters along with seeing flashes of light may be a cause of concern. If that happens you must see your Doctor immediately. Since your Doctor said that your eyes were ok, you may not need an immediate check up now. But if floaters persist or increases, it's better to get a through retina check up, particularly retinal periphery.

Lasik surgey does not cause defect of binocular vision. I think it was present before LASIK. As regards treatment, it is not advisable to write any treatment without examining your eyes. Please consult an Ophthalmologist. Best wishes for your upcoming medical examination.

If blurring of vision was not there earlier and it is due to pregnancy, it usually goes away after child birth. But without examining her eyes it is very difficult to say for sure. As regards early delivery, you can take another opinion.

I am almost 5 months postpartum, I have delivered twins and dry eye symptoms started at 4 months postpartum, I also had gestational diabetes in the pregnancy time. My eyes hurt, it is like sand in my eyes, painful also after adding eye drops. I was at the doctors and still they recommended eye drops. I also have some proeminent veins that appeared in this period. Could you please let me know if the dry eye is hormonal and if it will go away? Please let me know what other treatments should I try. Hi, thank you for your nice comment. And, congratulations for delivering twins. The dryness that occurs in pregnancy and after child birth usually goes away in a few months. It doesn't remain permanent. So you need not worry. It'll go away. Sometimes it may persist a little longer. In such a situation, application of lubricating eye drops is most helpful. I think you're doing that. In addition I may recommend foods containing Vitamin A, such as yellow coloured fruits and green leafy vegetables. Also you may take some Vitamin A supplement after consultation with your G&O specialist. I wish you a speedy recovery from your present eye problems.

Sir nurses tested my eyes with auto refractor, and said my eyes have sight issue. But then nurses tested with snellen chart and other manuel tests and said no problem in my eyes. Sir, which is true (Sorry for my bad English )

As far as I am concerned, I do not believe in computerized spectacle power testing. Not only you. There are thousands like you, who got fault positive results on spectacle power testing with an autorefractor. Obviously I would say that the manual method is correct. But, having said that I would recommend that you take another opinion at a different clinic.
