About the last thing I said to my mom was "if you leave here first just wait by the river" when I returned to the hospital room she'd had a stroke and was in a coma until she passed. We both always loved this song.

These are singers I I grew up listening to in person . Began going to concerts in 1960. Jake was part of Imperials along with Armond . Armond sang a mellow bass with Imperials still the greatest group I ever heard . Vestel was a powerful voice . Michael maybe the finest singer/ stylist I ever heard . Larnelle a unique gifted performer .
