This song was in my head all last night for some reason after not thinking about it for maybe 40 years. So glad to find it on here and realize I did not imagine it.

Why the Colonel did not put Elvis on shows like this blows my mind. Colonel did everything in his power to stifle E's creativity.

When I was a teenager in the 90s, I wasn't quite like the other teens...I had a crush on Donald O'Conner! 😅 Thanks to my aunt and family who introduced me to musicals, Singing in the Rain was my favorite movie, and his charm (and gorgeous blue eyes) won me over. This is so sweet and fun to see, thank you!

One of the great ones by our neighbor Jimmy C Newman, when he was younger. You don't hear that kind of singing today. He was a gentleman too boot. We miss him so much. 😢 ❤❤

Guy's brothers were the sax section. They even breathed together, playing with one sound ! Louis Armstong took his band one night to hear Guy's group in NY. He said "That's how smooth I want you to sound" !

Esta orquesta casi olvidada, fue una de las mejores de los años 50 si no me equivoco, valdría la pena escuchar alguna version de alguien que conozca un poco mas de esta orquesta de lujo que solo los millonarios podían contratar.
