You are not, I’m not sure what happen when the truck was originally painted. Maybe it was still a stick or painter maybe forgot to take it off. Not sure.

Great Luv, I had a 1973 LUV when I was a teenager in the 80s lowered with a Buick V6 transplant, 8 miss that truck.

Gotta determmine how it is seized. Pull the cylinder heads and see what's up. Pull the harmonic balancer and use a crank socket on a breaker bar and try to rotate. You might have to even loosen the main bearing caps to get it to rotate also. Like I said, you need to determine what exactly is locking it up. Good luck. Aloha 🤙

We ended up pulling everything and had to beat the pistons out. The rings were rusted to the cylinder wall.

Holy shit! I'm so glad someone found this and is gonna save! The very first issue of minitruckin is ever saw had this on the cover and I drooled over it. Found out through a friend around 2012 or so that he knew the owner and it was sitting on a trailer outside. I thought for sure it had been cut up.
