Possibly. I'd like to think so. It was on the bottom, lots of head shakes. PMax was showing lots of fish scattered throughout the huge herring ball.

Nice job. I wonder if you built the Flint skiff hoping it was a bit more stable for fishing? Both of these projects have my attention, but I'm leaning toward the Flint. Thanks for posting these videos.

The dory is suitable for rough water, especially when loaded. I use it for fishing on the ocean. The Flint takes up to a 4 hp motor and is suitable for calm days on the ocean and handles all the lake weather conditions I've been in.

You need to expand your vocabulary . The first definition of pram is usually given as the baby car derived from perambulation. The second definition is of Middle Dutch origin (prame) meaning a small flat bottom sailboat.
