This track is too damn small for these cars cmon outlaws. Find some bigger and better tracks.

These cars run on a lot of smaller tracks, this is a 1/3 mile track which is average for these cars.

Does this track have a "D" shape to it? They're completely chopping the throttle entering turn 1.

Not a "D" shape but turn one is tighter than the others.

@@bigb4894 Thanks for the info. I lived near Devil's Bowl in Mesquite for 30 years, it was "D" shaped, and they chopped the throttle entering turn 1 there. R.I.P. Devil's Bowl...

@@NathanSmith-xu8gb okay well I understand that but during the 70s 80s play 90s and maybe early 2000s I don't care if it was 32° out the stands were always packed. I got pictures and some video in the 80s of actual snow flurries and the stands where jam-packed for just a regular weekend show. I grew up at the racetrack and I have a good memory of it. It's just people are complacent and would rather stay home and watch races on flo. Not to mention people have lost interest but another big thing is the economy and people can't just take their families like they used to. I know I can't go near as often as I used to be able to. I wish it would get back to normal but it never will. I hate to say it but dirt track racing or just racing in general is in the process of dying. A very well-known Sprint car driver said that sprint car racing will be dead and this was an interview a couple years ago. Compassion for the sport has dropped dramatically and if these tracks cannot fill the stands every week then they will not be able to stay open and that's just a fact no matter how much I hate it or you hate it. Anyway tell people to get to your local track no matter how cold it is because fans used to go no matter what the temperature was.

This is the one to watch! No yammering over the sound of the cars. Only one remark, how about the occasional shot of the leader-board, and maybe a quick insert-screen of the car numbers and driver names.

My two favorite motorsports (well, sports period) Non-wing Sprint and Icelandic Truck. Way to make a video, where the crazed meth-head calling the race is (thankfully) drowned out by the sound of the screaming race engines....just like actually being there. Good job, hoping for more....Thanks guys

I love Non- Wing Sprint racing! It takes more skill and provides a wild show. A lot more "Slideways" driving! Plus, I started going to the races before they had wings, so the nostalgia is significant for me.

I am so grateful for all of the locals who chime in, some true talent. Hard to compete with folks who's game it is full time rides. Give anyone of these competitors a full on schedule and maybe, just maybe, within a season or two, you might see newer talent come to the surface. Hat's off to all of the locals that participate in these shows against the best of the best, they are true warriors.

I love watching peoples' videos of races as I can usually see more of the race. The tv coverage always wants to zoom in so far on the drivers when they race you could see how many fingers they are holding up. I can't stand the coverage of these races. I'd rather watch a stationary elevated drone so that I can see the whole track & watch what I want to watch. Awesome videography!

@@DirtFlyingMedia For the love of racing, I've worked dirt tracks in the ambulance, wrecker truck, corner flagman, corner truck, & etc. In stock car, sprints, & a few CORR events & I've eaten a lot of dust in dry conditions, but this track held up perfectly & that gave you wonderfully clear video. Plus, you were where the action was A++.

I just spent a whole 90mins on a fantastic story to go with this video, but the "Great God's of the Algorithm" decided that I was not allowed to post said comments, though I can't for the life of me think of a single thing that I may have said that was offensive or misleading in any way, look stuff "algorithms", and stuff "KZbin" too!!
