Plot twist: this trilogy is representing the fall of America. Batman represents the pro status quo force (saving Gotham = saving America). The chaos and discord is represented by the Joker. Bane represents the revolutionary forces that aims to spread populism and overthrow the system. It’s all happening in real time and these movies make total sense when you look at it through the lens of current and recent events in America.

This was absolutely amazing. The way you transitioned all the movies seamlessly together is stunning

Oh my god you’ve finally made it! For me, your supercuts are leagues above most others because they not only manage to preserve the major story beats, visually iconic moments, but also the most notable soundtracks/motifs in these movies. And as a bonus, the musical transitions in many places are absolutely inspired! (TDW’s ominous ending to TWS, Thor1’s theme to TDW, to name a couple) Phase 2 was my favourite period of the MCU, and I think you’ve done an excellent job at preserving the feeling of watching these movies.

Great Retrospective my friend, hope to see a Phase 2 Retrospective very soon. I for one will be very very Happy if you do the same treatment from this one to Phase 2, start with Iron Man 3 with the after affects from The Avengers to Thor: The Dark World with the continued brother feud of Thor and Loki to Captain America: The Winter Soldier with the shocking revelation of Shield to the introduction of the Guardians of the Galaxy to the reunion of The Avengers in Age of Ultron to the introduction of Ant-Man and finally end the video with Thanos grabbing the gauntlet. Hope to see another one and really loved this video.
