I've done a little bit of that sort of thing, it's interesting, though often due to the different systems being well, so different, you don't get a very natural flow of combat, and it's very start-stop, also more doubles. Sort of like two people trying to speak different languages at eachother.

He started with Wushu, which is a Chinese performative martial art, and transferred that to HEMA. He's also super dramatic in person which also helps lol.
