Very good idea. We travel with our dog all the time. Why aren't other cruise liners not providing kennels??

The cost is absolutely no barrier to our Dogs' well being traveling to our UK home & back to the USA. I am shocked & disgusted, how many pets suffer and die on even short airline flights. Our last dog was so traumatized on his last flight, it took 3 weeks to get him to leave our home or his pen after simply flying from the northeast to Palm Beach on what was then US Airways & now American Airlines.. However for the cost of the QE2 one wonders, what type of either: education, veterinary licensure, certification or, previous veterinary experience is required for the "Kennel Masters" on the QE2? Specifically two areas I.e., K9 CPR & K9 Behaviour training? It begs the question, why a retired Vet wouldn't want this late in life position!

I don't think dogs like to fly. Neither do I. We took a trans Atlantic voyage on Queen Mary 2. Every day I went up to pet the dogs. I did not go into their area, but they come over to the fence if they want you to put them. I also put a video of the dogs on KZbin.

I'm so glad I'm learning about this!!! I would pay any amount to not have our handsome pup not travel on a plane!

Safer than trip on an airplane? Probably a lot more fun for the dog(s)!
