This became my favorite tie knot some 20 years ago when I first found tie-a-tie website when I was looking for different knots. I was specifically trying to find out if there is a symmetrical knot because the basic one and the only one I knew is a little crooked and that always bothered me.

It's a great sin to have a knot as large as a Windsor not centered in presentation. You'd be better off with a four-in-hand for that.

note this knot, does not fall apart when undone, ( sexy for the bedroom),, but the drawing that lead to this video, does fall apart nicely when undone at the end of the day. As per the above video- if the front of the knot is created " left to right"- it will fall apart , try it.
