If I was Mariah, I would lip pre-recorded vocals all the live long day if I had the opportunity. Vocals are instruments and should be taken care of and not strained and deserve a break/some rest - yes even during an actual show. Mariah is not a robot. You could literally choose to prepare, practice and rest your voice for 48 hrs, it's not always reliable come showtime because that's not always something people/singers can control. Like y'all really need to give her a break with this lip sync finger pointing foolishness. If anything, I actually admire and commend her for being self aware and cautious, and protecting her voice while hoping to give us a good show. Better than pushing herself, then accidentally sounding bad, and then y'all STILL turn around and say she "Oh Lord she can't sing anymore". Pick a struggle then after that GTFO, respectfully quoted by MC herself lol 👍✨
