@natemorrisracing
@natemorrisracing 5 ай бұрын
@@GWOT_ it’s the US Legend Car division. They’re largely considered as one of the bottom rungs of the stock car racing ladder but it’s a thriving series in its own right. All the cars are spec cars built in Harrisburg North Carolina but they race all over the world. It’s probably one of the most versatile race cars as we run on paved ovals, dirt ovals, and road courses. If you’d like to know more you can check out USLegendcars.com

Wake county speedway rules are all cars involved in a caution have to go to the back...unless you have a certain name. The 88 definitely got into the 04. The way to 04 and 06 handled it after that is understandable but frustrating aswell. If the 06 could've taken the win from the 88 that would've been the move instead of getting herself spun out and ruining the night for other drivers. I agree with your observation on this track and the race control as a fan who is there every Friday night I can make it.

These MT09s have been so funny. I’ve had the same issue one time in qualifying. Did you by any chance stall it then not let the arrows go back and forth before turning it back on? Because I did that one time and didn’t let the motor cycle and my motor ran horrible after that.
@natemorrisracing
@natemorrisracing 5 ай бұрын
@@NealTheRealDeal-326 we’ve thought that before but we have always had issues with this motor. We had Chad reprogram it at Charlotte round 9 and it hadn’t run right since. Todd changed the throttle body, ecu, and the pedal and it ran great for the race so it seems like we’ve got a bad part.

5:52 I help the #69 with his car, he got spun around harmlessly off someone else's bumper and stalled. Would have been 100% fine if not for the clear dysfunction in this racetrack's ability to throw cautions in time. Instead, two cars were severely damaged and one driver (#88) was injured. There was 7 - 8 whole seconds between the car stopping and the lights coming on. Incredibly avoidable wreck if the officials had been paying attention. Just infuriating.

You have to buy a car, there's a facebook group called Just Legends, and you can find some deals on used cars there, or you could get a new one from a U.S. Legend car dealer. Then find a local track that races them weekly or you could run the various national events and I'm sure there's guys there who can help set the car up. It definitely can be one of the most cost efficient ways to race, and the cars teach you a lot about how to drive.
