He picked the bin up. He most likely didnt picked the bag up bc he didn't see it or bc the bin was too full

At the time of this it was 2-3pm and I had finished my red run in a neighbouring suburb. Got a call right as I picked up my last bin to race over to North Gosford as a driver chucked a wobbly and didn’t want to finish the rest of his run left over. To find I was the only truck in such a large section of the neighbourhood leftover was a disappointment usually a few of us go in and chop out a run if someone requests they need a hand. Anyhow I got it done eventually and gunned it to the tip with a minute left until they shut by the time I made it. Now, in terms of the bin, I usually give some slack in most scenarios and help out wherever I can, however with the time restraints I was already facing on top of HOW BIG this suburb really was than I thought it’d be, I couldn’t waste any time. On top of that, the constant packer encoder failures I was experiencing all day long was starting to shit me. Also, for not even attempting to pack and secure it into the bin, and just “lightly” placing it on top, sometimes residents need to learn the hard way. You’d also think after automated side loaders being a thing in Australia over the last 4 decades that people would’ve gained an understanding on how to place waste out, but unfortunately some people still lack an IQ in order to understand how to carry this out, even in 2024. There are some special people out there that’s for sure.

at the time there was no functioning hopper camera on this truck, i believe he wrote it up and a few weeks later they put a new one in
