So KEXP played one of their sets earlier this summer and Matthew went live on it. I mentioned how emotional this performance was for me and he basically told me - same, the period he’s writing about was an intense time for him. Also said how honored he was to play with this orchestra. I’m guessing he was a bit choked up. Anyway, thought I’d pass that along,
