I think, I wonder about how it is that,,God brings us through so many difficult situations...perhaps even Miraculous "helps" and yet, another Giant/Mountaina appears and it's like, scared, uncertain........it seems that activating Romans 5:5, by thinking about it and saying it, well, this helps to go step by step and let God do what we just can not do, do or solve, u know, HIs Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding..........and Insight.........these things, I believe, accompany God's Love. How does it look like? Well, fo rme, I just say "I trust you Lord," thank you your showing me what to do .......I bring to remembrance all the other awful "pickles" God helped me through and I command my Mind to only think about God, refusing fear, anxiety..etc...

But he certainly said that He and the Father were one. It’s why so many of the Jewish leaders wanted him executed.

Jesus says that he and the father are one (He is stoned for blasphemy), he forgives someone of their sins, he claims to be the alpha and the omega (in the book of revelation), he had his sacrificial death on the cross and rose up three days later. You are not open minded in the slightest

Slavery was not an issue in the civil war. The issue that started the war. If you do, your history was same as today. Same as revolutionary war taxation without representation. The north was over taxing the South for goods like still and under valuing the goods from the south like wool and they didn't like the wool and cotton that we were selling as well as spice back to Britain. They felt it was betrayal. And as the North was losing, they decided to cash in on the Irish that were coming here. Fleeing poverty and slavery so they made slavery issue because they knew the Irish should get on board and fight for their side. They lied to them same as they did the Nigerians or negroes that were here. Promising land and money. I promise they did not keep because what most people don't realize is the slaves in the north because there was slaves in the north were treated horribly where the slaves in the South were treated much more respectively and decently so much so that they volunteered to fight for their masters. Now this is not me saying slavery is good in any way shape or form or by any peoples no matter what the religion because we of all murdered and enslaved in the name of religion every religion throughout history

Learn some history about Jackson and how taught hundreds of Blacks how to read. Jackson did indeed conduct a Sunday School for enslaved black people, and likely violated state law in encouraging literacy among his students. Testimony by his former enslaved students after the Civil War suggests some affection existed between teacher and pupils. The fact of the Sunday school, then, is no myth. Oh yeah Jackson never purchased a slave- he took only two enslaved people in that he found in destitution !
