Nice video, but this is nowhere near Cornucopia, which is up in the Bayfield peninsula on the South Shore of Lake Superior. Perhaps you meant Franconia?

This is what I said in the description: "Silverbrook Falls is a straight-drop falls at Interstate Park on the St. Croix River and Siskiwit Falls is a series of cascading falls south of Cornucopia Wisconsin." It is Siskiwit Falls which I said was south of Cornucopia (and it is). And as I stated, Silverbrook Falls is at Interstate State Park near the St. Croix River. This is also correct.

Any updates on the Parks System issuing permits?
@Mark_Heffron_Videos2 жыл бұрын
No, they are not issuing any. Since Josh Gates of "Expedition Unknown" received a permit to dig in front of one of the stone lions on his TV show, none have been issued. I believe the parks system doesn't want to be bothered by the interest in the treasure any more.

I believe it is located in or near 3 Bridges Park. If you look through the history of the Mitchell Family and their love for horticulture, their railroad business, and the history around the Mitchell Park Domes, then read the poem, which brings up many points of the history of the Mitchell Family, I believe it is near the domes. However, I may be wrong. I think the key is learning Milwaukee's history and art to unlock some hints in finding the treasure. :)
@Mark_Heffron_Videos2 жыл бұрын
I don't think the clues add up for Mitchell Park. The "Mitchell" in the clues is Mitchell Hall at UWM, and the following clues describe a trip from there to Lincoln Memorial Drive and Lake Park. The Mitchell Domes vicinity would be a good place to bury a treasure. It's one of the two most notable landmarks in Milwaukee to be found in Milwaukee Parks. The other of course is the North Point Lighthouse at Lake Park, which is the landmark I would choose if I were to bury a treasure. The clue that says "pass by the compass" is indicative of the North Point Lighthouse, because a compass "points north". The "rising sun" clue in the two reddish balls surrounded by blue that the Juggler is throwing are indicative of the rising sun, which can be seen from the U-shaped vista which is east of the Lighthouse (the birch). The clues all add up in my opinion, so I'm pretty much done with the mystery. Thanks for the thoughtful message. I get a few from clueless individuals who are just eager to make a quick buck off the hunt without having any real insight into the meaning of the text. It seems that the greedier a person is, the more deficient their reasoning power is. For me the "treasure" was the satisfaction in discovering a relevant meaning to the puzzle. My solution may not be totally accurate, or the treasure may have already been found or disturbed by construction along the hill (there is a kind of plastic mesh covering it to prevent soil erosion), but it was an enjoyable challenge since I have always lived so close to this beautiful park designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, who also designed Central Park in New York (another good reason for Byron Preiss to bury a treasure here). And to those who believe that I may have already found it by digging there myself, my only response is this: "If I did find it, I wouldn't tell you now. I'd wait long enough to sell it on Ebay or donate it to the Milwaukee County Parks Commission, and that hasn't happened yet." And to those scavengers who are frustrated at not finding it themselves I would say: solve the clues for yourself and find out where it is, instead of trying to scrounge off the efforts of others. By your deeds ye shall be known.

Dude me and my cousin have been trying to find this but if you truly believe you have found it look up how you can get in contact wit expedition unknown!! Josh gates has been helping people dig up the areas they believe they have found it! If you show him your evidence Hopefully they will see it and they will get in contact with you! Look him up! He will film it all and help you find it! He will mostly likely be able to get in contact with the person to dig! Good luck!!
@Mark_Heffron_Videos2 жыл бұрын
He's already been here. He had some county people with him and for some reason dug in front of one of the stone lions, and as in all Josh Gates digs, there was nothing there. Various people have dug around the U-shaped vista and the oak tree I identified, but as far as I know, have not found anything yet.

I want someone to actually go check my idea out..can you?! I live in the uk and won't ever get to go..so.. There IS a reason that only 3 have been found. I think that you need a logical thought process.. which you're supposed to be able to solve at-home. But Google Street View wasn't around when the treasures were buried.. So we actually have the ability to really do it at home.. So...I believe that it's in lake park.. And I've seen how the others were solved. Of course there are details to help you get to the treasure but if you read the instructions of where he says the treasure is.. Look the columns..in the painting you could say.. Well he's telling you that the treasure is in a rectangle..at the columns.. Then chicago Over Lincoln left shoulder was exactly where the treasure was.. Now..milwaukee...the clue is.. at its southern foot The treasure awaits So..I for sure think its lake park.. I Google map.. lake park.. and waw.. the boundary lines of the park.. show that the lake is a leg shape..the foot of the leg shape is facing south..so.. at its southern foot..I go on street view and see that here is a stone.. in the southern corner..that is shaped like the jugglers hand shape..right there.. in the ground.. So i believe that is where the treasure is.. rake a look on Google Street View. I have followed other steps also taking me to the u bend of the road at the south east edge of the park boundaries.. on Google maps the patches forms a v shape.. A proud tall fifth.. the v shape is elevated proud.. also means protruding..tall, elevated. V 5 in roman numerals..walk forward down the steps and the right edge of that v is the southern foot of the park.. where the stone shape in the hand sits..

Great video, congrats! I think you bring up a great point about the glowing clues in the picture. I hadn't thought about the rising sun for the ball... Have you considered that the meaning of "Southern Foot," when relating to the Lion image, might possibly mean "Southpaw," meaning on the left side? At this point I'm rooting for anyone, and I mean ANYONE, to find these remaining casks. I'd be thrilled to see it!
@Mark_Heffron_Videos3 жыл бұрын
I like the "southpaw" interpretation. The lions face to the north and south in the area between the two ravines where the North Point Lighthouse stands. Holes have been dug twice in the park in front of the south-facing lion on the east side of the bridge, and this lion actually looks in the general direction of the vista (and his left or "southpaw" foot is tilted upward). The first hole that was dug here was by Josh Gates of Expedition Unknown, accompanied by employees of the Milwaukee County Parks Commission, based on an idea from a Milwaukee resident. Nothing was found there because they hadn't figured out what the two reddish balls surrounded by blue referred to (the rising sun which can be seen from the U-shaped vista). I think because of the failure of this quest, the Parks Commission no longer wants to be bothered about the treasure and have stated that anything dug up in the park belongs to Milwaukee County. In the last month someone dug a second hole in the same place in front of the lion and never bothered to cover it up. There are several open holes around the base of the vista, and a new hole has been dug near the oak tree down from the vista recently. It's possible someone has found it by now, but nobody has announced it yet. I hope someone finds it soon, even if they have to donate it to the Parks Commission, just so the mystery gets solved. I don't know of any other solution that makes more sense than mine. I'm planning on making another video soon of the sun rising over Lake Michigan from the Vista before the leaves get too thick to see through, and you can no longer see the distinctive shape of the branches on the oak tree.

If someone was digging there do you think they didn’t report it yet because they were scared to be fined for illegal digging? I hope someone comes forward about finding it.
@Mark_Heffron_Videos3 жыл бұрын
Yes that is a possibility. About a 7-10 days after I posted this video, I found that the area south of the tree had been dug up. I still wonder if someone found it and hasn't reported it yet. I don't know how you could turn in the key for the jewel if you don't have rightful ownership of the urn. The Milwaukee County Parks Commission has indicated that anything dug up in County Parks is their property. I suppose if you waited long enough you could say you found it somewhere else, or make up a story that you had obtained it from a 3rd party and never actually dug it up. Time will tell.

Ah Spain, I went to Barcelona once. What a beautiful place! I'm currently trapped in the snow in Wisconsin. I won't be digging any time soon, as the Milwaukee County Parks Commission won't allow it. Someone dug up a large area south of the tree about a week after I published the video, so they either found it or didn't. I still haven't heard of anything being discovered. I hope someone locates it soon, so people stop digging in the park. Best Wishes, Mark

I won't be digging, but the clues add up well for this location (the clues overwhelmingly point to Lake Park; it's got one of Milwaukee's most noteworthy landmarks- the white North Point Lighthouse, which is the "birch" mentioned in the clues. I hope the treasure is found soon so people stop digging in this beautiful park, which was designed by the same man who designed Central Park in NYC, Frederick Law Olmsted. The shape of the tree is very visible now that the leaves have fallen off. And it's possible to see the sun rise over Lake Michigan from the Vista.
