Thanks to these bells, you can find the cows in nature again. So they benefit the cows more than they harm them :)

man made, the tributaries were canalized to avoid natural erosion above the lake

I will visit the Klein Matterhorn this mid of June. I cannot ski. I really like the view in this route. Is it doable to walk from the Klein Matterhorn to Testa Grigia by foot with hiking shoes?

There is also a lot of snow in summer. I recommend you go up to the viewing platform at the mountain station and visit the ice museum. But I wouldn't go hiking in the snow there

It's bad they're too lazy to open those t-bar lifts for summer skiing. You just have one chairlift on the swiss side and another one on Italian side plus the cableway to bring you up. And it stops at 15:00 even if the snow condition is still acceptable

The last third, from Furgg down was closed one month ago when I was there (in March/April), due to an avalanche crossing the piste lower down. You can see at 19:40 there is jumbled snow to the left where it must have happened to a lesser extent before. I really missed that last run of the day, with its twists and turns, steep sections etc, so thanks for that.

Zermatt and Cervinia is of course a much larger ski area than Belalp. But you're sure to have fun when you visit Belalp 😃

It is not directly a ski slope but a road through the forest which can be used with skis in winter. It goes from Belalp to Blatten near Naters in Switzerland. So you don't have to use the cable car in the evening, but can ski down into the valley 😄
