How did this installation turn out in the long run. I might have to add an extended plenum onto mines too to get one to fit.

What gauge duct is that? Nibbler went through the spiral beads like butter...i snapped mine last time I tried using it on a bead but we do industrial. Heavy gauge duct. Also I imagine rhis is supply duct, is condensation not a thing in your area? I noticed its neither lined or wrapped with insulation. Good looking runs. Very neat.
@BillyKnoth
@BillyKnoth Жыл бұрын
Thanks. It was 22 ga. Not insulated because it was in the conditioned space so it didn't really sweat. . Owner wanted the look and didn't want to pay for the lined duct.

I had my 550 for almost 4 to 5 years and then the low side got stuck with -29.83 and would not reset so I bought the new 550s with wireless temp probes and wireless micron gauge. I loved my 550 just didn’t like the corded probes I had to replace 1 or 2 every year so glad that the new 550s have wireless probes

Old video but for anyone coming across this now: Veto must have re-jigged their bag sizes. This size bag seems closer to the current PB5 (their small size). The current PB4 are larger than the ones in the video. Watch BK's newer video to see the current line-up of bags, including the largest of all, PB4-L

I have this Lennox SLP98V furnace in the Chicago area. HVAC installed it in 2013 with the I Comfort thermostat. Many parts have been replaced over the years when the furnace stopped working; blowing debris out of condensate tubes, replacing the defective Pressure Switch, the new Blower Motor Module, the new leaking Collector Box, and the new cracked Draft Inducer Motor to try stopping all the water leaks inside the furnace. Now how do I get rid of all the rust inside the cabinet of the furnace?

Nice install!. Question, is there different sizes for those register box? For example, if your needing 200 cfms and another register 400 cfms. You'll have different register sizes to distribute amount of air need?
@videos10

And how do you damper each one independently? Can you?
@BillyKnoth
@BillyKnoth Жыл бұрын
We made these in-house. But yes you would size them depending on the amount of air needed.
@BillyKnoth
@BillyKnoth Жыл бұрын
As for the damper.... We just used the registers as dampers... Since it was one open space. We would make the takeoffs with dampers if they were feeding separate spaces separately.

No. Because it is exposed and would look bad. And the fact that it was one open space, none was needed.

Just saw this video and it got me thinking...I have a pulse furnace around 28 years old. It's been a good furnace, not much repairs other than main board. Just kind of curious if I should be doing some preventative replacement/maintenance on it. Any thoughts? Thanks!

So I have to donit myself.. just watching a bunch of videos. So I get long duct work now I just have to learn where and how to hook it up to the furnace and Air-conditioning. How do you do that
