IDK man. What else are you going to spend AP on? We all agree chaining barbs is king but I think we need to put a value of our time. Chaining barbs takes forever so why not just dump AP in this event and be done with it?

IF it does happen, I'm ready to eat my next sentence; but why does everyone think the first type that features Combo Damage is going to be cavalry? I get that its possible as the next Calvary lineup is Versatility and Rally, but it's kind of a stretch. The only one rn who does Combo damage is LC. And in-game descriptions say that Combo Damage is scaled by Normal Damage buff/debuffs. So even if Cavs get it, it wouldn't synergize well with most Cavalry commanders aside from Attila and Takeda. I DO think next Cavs will be Skill damage based, but will either reduce or steal healing, like a Vampire effect. And I'm calling that Combo Damage will belong to the next Infantry lineup.

With Ragnar Prime, you will get 1 more extra troop in your case on the map, which you will benefit the most. You already have Minamoto that can pair with JA prime. Zhuge is the best in this case from all, but when you don't have ready pair and equipment, you won't benefit that much. In my opinion even if you have a new Cav commander, you will still have 2 troops on the map (i mean good troops). This way with ragnar you will have 1 extra troop on the map ready to fight.

Use 200 gh on Ragnar, if you are going to use him anytime soon in future. If u are going into fights soon, then max Huo, paired with Joan. if not then save ur ghs

Ragnar Prime. Tanky, hence there's alot you can do on the battlefield with much less micromanagement: this translates to less resources and speed ups being used. double AOE with great damage, buffs and debuffs, hence more damage in murderball. This combo will likely be field meta, with long shelf life. We're almost at the door of new cav commanders, Huo is single target so there's a deficiency in murderballs compared to the other 2 marches. Archer commanders have great stats but you'd probably get worst trade with them as you'll be prime target. They are slow, hence may not be able to get out of tough situations safely before getting wrecked. Lots of micromanagement required. My investment priority would be: Ragnar > Huo > Zl All that being said, the equipment situation is a limiting factor. If you can work that up to acceptable levels (leadership pants and boots are cheap), then Ragnar is definitely your best bet.

i think ZL is best, the dmg and debuff is insane on the march even if you get targeted, and its best to run 1 inf, 1 cav, 1 archer lineup

Your BEST choice is to go with Huo, there's too many cons for the other two. You already got Joan in a good spot, and you can benefit way more with Huo than the other two. And the cons for Huo don't hit you as hard as the other two would.

All these comments suck U should work on ur 1-1-1 marches ONE AT A TIME and save ur GH waiting for the next Cav cycle. Ragnar is not an option cuz in ur current position u alrdy have an inf march w WW/LC. Ur forcing urself to make another inf set along with investing in Scip. Ragnar event rewards are good but it’s not worth the GH and long term invest when u haven’t finished ur 1-1-1 yet. Huo would be the only realistic option BUT Cav cycle should be coming soon so u should save and wait. In the meantime u need to start crafting accessories for ur cav march (at the minimum) then u can start working on ur archer march. Ur helm, wep, pants are acceptable for now as a low invest. If u rlly want to invest in a barb chaining march, Huo u can do 5111 or 5511 and ur fine. Archer investment out of the question bc u need to use ur mats to craft accessories for ur inf/cav march first before starting on ur archer march. Too far into the future, GH will be wasted if u invest now. Only acceptable option is to do 5111 ZL for chaining TLDR: SAVE GH NO INVEST until next CAV CYCLE.. if anything LOW INVEST Huo and focus on accessories for cav (didn’t see inf equips but if there isn’t any accessories prioritize inf since it’s ur best march) finish ur 1-1-1 ONE march at a time before going onto the next, this included accessories with majority legendary pieces. If u do this, ur giving urself gh flexibility for the future and that’s what’s important.

Good Day brother! In my opinion, you need to save your legendary sculptures for a moment. In your upcoming kvk you can use 2 marches with your infantry and cavs. If you invest in Huo Qubing, its too early to replace Minamoto. The last 2 open-field commander of cavalry is a single target, Cav mains are crying in the social media and requesting to have a good Aoe for the next cav commander. You know how good the developers listen to the community!! Good luck on your decision

ZL/Herman is furthest from being replaced, so I’d go there. Huo Joan will be out of meta too soon, and if you already have WW/Liu Che then you don’t need Ragnar/Scipio

go with Huo for sure. Get another cav besides mina out on the field asap. Additionally the Huo opens you up to 2 chaining marchs leading to an increase in speeds/gems. You can mitigate the Richard snail movement speed by leveling up your ZL and using archers+flag+march speed gear. Pair Huo with hera or a different circle aoe

nah haha this account is not ready to have an archer march. 1 you don't have equipment and 2 archers are getting focused on the field. i kinda regretted investing in ZL even if he is good because he has no march speed. So go with huo.

I get about 150 heads per month. I always buy them. Between the daily purchase and VIP heads you are guaranteed minimum 4 max commanders each year regardless of how much you play.

None of the comments are right. You should either spend 200 into rag prime if you are 90% sure you will use him, or hold your sculpts until you fight or until the next cav commander release. Especially do not max Huo unless you are fighting with him in the next 24h. Wait to see what the next cav commander looks like before maxing Huo.
