Hi Fred! isn't therapy a way to reinforce that false self?

If no one is here doing awakening, there’s really no need to worry or even “do” anything yes? It’s all just happening of itself right, so I can relax a bit instead of all this futile (seeming) trying going on by the sense of the separate self.

Another sleepless night shot down by clarity! If movement is relative then going with the flow will be an experience of stillness. This and I are one.

If my body disappeared the world would disappear as well, since there wouldn’t be any senses that could register it. So if I can turn my back to my senses the world will disappear.
@FredDavisNonduality7 күн бұрын
That's one way to see it. Another is that wherel there is no world to begin with, it cannot disappear. This is "the world of appearances," but nothing that appears here is real. You are far beyond the presence or absence of senses.

@@FredDavisNonduality It really did. Last year I became nondual in about one minute after reading on of your books and seeing your youtubes. I stood and washed the dishes manually and suddenly it all happened by itself - it was a breeze to wash the dishes - absolutely fantastic. Everything happened by itself. Completely new experience. Life took possession of me. Then I thought/wondered: "Where did I go? ?? I was gone" (laughs happily) ...and gone it was and hasn't been there since (2023). I know of course that it was my ego/ my desire to be in control that ruined it. I have a hard time letting go of that control. That's why this KZbin was right on the mark. I've actually thought about traveling to you in the US and having a session, but that requires a lot of planning and not cheap, but your capacity doesn't exist here in Europe as far as I know. Best from Denmark

I have been a police leader in many years, and my job was to be in control ..and in Denmark it is the police who also coordinate all rescues. So there I am;)

@@FredDavisNonduality Hm. Sir, I'm a 39 year old man commenting from the eastern Himalayas. Thanks. I'll be going though your work in this channel. I have struggled with trauma, ignorance and alcoholism my entire life. It's been only a few years that I found non-duality and began to apply the teaching to my life. I am fairly stable now. Grew up with a single mom and poverty. Thanks. Your response means a lot.

Honest question here. If there’s no one here and everything is conditioned and or conditioning, who is here to either question thoughts or follow them?

you can feel - when the impulse arises - and you can let it go - but you cannot decide - why you do not follow it schopehauer expressed it differently - you can do what you want - but you cannot want what you want
@cuspryd3r10 күн бұрын
@@bertkreft9689 Wouldn't all decisions be based on the conditioned mind? Example: Not crossing the road during traffic because you know you will get hurt. Or knowing the direction of a location, so you turn right instead of left. Or even basic level stuff. Hungry so you eat etc. Is it not all the same?
@FredDavisNonduality10 күн бұрын
You're on the right path. These things arise spontaneously from the juncture of conditions meeting conditioning. Decisions happen. They are not "made."
