I was diagnosed with latent TB just a few days ago. And I don't know how to react back then. Of course it is latent so I didn't feel the symptoms of TB. My chest x-ray was positive with PTB at my upper left lung. And I still need to undergo sputum test as required by an internal medicine doctor. Seeing the comments that it is hard to collect sputum sample makes me stressed out

Seeing a lot of commenters saying that collecting sputum is very hard worries me. Tomorrow after I wake up I should collect my sputum.. and thinking about it is kind of impossible honestly because how am I going to be able to spit the sputum out if it's stored deep inside my lungs?

I can feel it there in the back of my throat in very few occasions, but it refuses to come out even after hard coughing/exhaling n immediately gulp back down. I had a tb test done when I was 16 I was exposed to it an they gave me medication for 9 months then gave me a card to carry around to let it be known I finished treatment well I’m 33 now an had another test done on Friday it swelled up an is red it doesn’t itch or anything did it come back an do I have to take the medication for another 9 months again an I’m currently pregnant

We no longer trust the CDC, especially since they still insist on recommending the CoViD-19 injections that activated TB in my young, formerly healthy and fit friend.

I tested negative for it til I started taking enbrel for my r.a now I gotta go to a infectious disease dr to see if it's a false positive or I got latent tb. My xray came back negative.
