If I never see an M60 GPMG ever again (useless clapped-out, antiquated garbage, designed by morons) I'll be a happy man.

Thank you so much for posting such a wonderful clip full of nostalgia with greats such as the late Paul Cronin, Michael Parkinson to name a few and the ever smiling face of Channel 10 in the 80’s Johnny Young. Was this 1983?

George O'Hanlon: I think I should be in this commercial to, Mel Blanc. I must get one for my daughter Judith when she graduates from high school working with me at Spacey's than my worst enemy Cogswell.

Hello, a fellow Wong here 😂Coupla hours ago in the morning me and my dad were talking about old funny commercials that we remembered and this one came out of her mind (at that time, he lived in Sydney and was a hard fan of RR) so I just searched it in the middle of the lunch and must say it's beautiful in its own way. Bothers me that nowadays everyone is so sensitive to jokes.

Wow great too watch this again 31 years on and I still love her. Proud West Aussie here I was 14 back then I watched her grow going down too Fremantle most weekends to see the progress. Thanks too Allan Bond who started the idea and made it happen and for everyone who gave the donations to finish her. She is one of the best replicas in the world. Sadly she is in Sydney now though the original Endeavour never sailed too WA we all love her here. Sad also if ya read the history on her from Sydney maritime museum they don't mention she was built in Frementle just that she sailed from here too Sydney. We should build Mathew Flinders ship next. Captain James Cook was a genius he picked the best ship to sail on his voyages and did a remarkable job mapping charting all the places he visited

I wonder whatever happened to the the old bloke with a hat, drove that old truck. Played this role towards the late 70's. I saw him on stage in Sydney once, 1978 I think it was. Funny and no swearing. I wish I could remember his name. "Hudson with a H!"

Only learned tonight that there was one in NSW. Here in WA, the Wooroloo site was a fabulously tacky institution in the 70s and 80s, but has had a difficult past since then. I hope it can revitalise itself.
