Does this work for mass effect 3 multiplayer?? I can’t seem to use my Xbox controller on my PC for it

Have you noticed a difference in sound quality using earc vs straight hookup to the Marantz ? I have with my ps5 pro and pc. When I connect to hdmi 4 using earc the sound is definitely lower. But when I connect straight to the Marantz is much louder. Idk but it's pretty annoying. And since the Marantz only has 1 hdmi 2.1 port i have to use one device via earc on hdmi 4

The Xbox Series S can technically output 4K resolution, it is not considered a "true" 4K 120Hz console because it often needs to drop resolution to achieve high frame rates, meaning it primarily renders at a lower resolution and then upscales to 4K

What about setting the PEQ per channel? Have your tried ObsessiveCompulsiveAudiophile scripts with MultiEQ?

I like both the Auromatic Upmixer and Neural-X upmixing. They are both very good at different things. Auromatic is good at elevating the whole soundstage, especially improving the ambient sounds and reverb you find in soundtracks. Its amazing sounding. Neural-X sounds good with ambience too, but its really good at steering discrete sounds around the soundfield. If the mix gives Neural-X a lot to work with it can sound as good as a well mixed and active Atmos track. Dolby Surround is nowhere near as good as the other two.

On my Marantz Cinema 50, all my speakers are set to small and my crossover set to 80 hz and my Atmos speakers to 110 hz, in my AVR LFE crossover setting is at 120 hz ( both physical subs are set to LFE = "0" ). I've watched that scene you're talking about in the Amazing Spiderman sewer scene, I do hear the loud thump when Spiderman shoot his web. It's pretty cool, it's been so long since I watched that film, its been years.

Why is your front sound stage set to large? I've seen your comment on the center channel being attached to a sub, how does that work? And also what about the L/R ?

You need to set all the speakers to small. "small" has nothing to do with size btw.

If you're trying to download from disc first turn your wi-fi off from the Xbox. Insert the disc and download from disc data. As that is finished don't click the game.. turn your wi-fi back on and then click your game. It will ask for an update then update the game and woohoo you're free to go! It worked for me.

I mainly want to use the spacial audio 3D for Gaming: like Rainbow Six Siege (where the foot placement audio is important), and for listening to music. I have the Yamaha RN1000A and already I am puzzled as to where to plug this BRC 1 centre Speaker in as my Yamaha Amp only has a single Phono input for a Subwoofer or centre Speaker. The main set of speaker outlets (Left and Right) are already in use with a pair of Borea 9's so where to plug in this Centre Speaker that I noticed from your preview also has wiring capabilities whether bare end wiring or banana plugs?

Sony AV Receiver does not do HDR10+ Marantz Cinema 50 be my choice as it does Dirac Live and 4 Subwoofer Independent ouputs, plus it has Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume so can play movies Loud at Lower Volumes which sounds Great I just have Marantz Cinema 70s AV Receiver with External 3ch Power Amp and Really Enjoy it, 5.1 is enough for my Living Room

I seen the projector screen, I just got one to try out with a cheap projector it's native 4k for like $250. It's a great value but I'm just not used to the difference in tv's so I'll prob send it back. but I did get the 8k itch for pc gaming so I"m waiting for that to come.

I have both the sony 7000 and the denon 3800. To me a novice they are both great. I watch a ton on 5.1 old movies and love the Auro3D upmixer. Then after a year of enjoying it I heard the review for the Sony upmixer called 360SSM. Well both are awesome to me. If I had to say the sony does sound better but not double the price better. I'm so happy with both. The only neg on the great sounding 360ssm is there can be a audible noise floor in extremely quiet scenes that comes across as an ever so faint hiss. It's unnoticeable during all scenes until it is silent in the scene and I can hear it. But average families don't. The Sony has 3 other features that I like, it supports 2 center channels top and bottom of tv. Also has center lift to the front heights which is nice too. In addition, the sony has an a proprietary music format called 360 Reality Audio, they have remixed a bunch of their catalog into it similar to atmos. It's fun to try out and some tracks do more with it than others but just something to mess around with. The sony has more measurements and algorithms that adjust for speaker placement and that is nice, I don't know if necessary but it works. As good as I like the sony it's not worth double the price, in the end I just splurged cause I wanted the options.

Brother... The deciding factor is dirac live. Sony is just a run of the mill avr. The marantz with dirac room correction will evolve your audio experience, especially the subwoofer part.

Frequency response goes down to 5 (!) Hz via a KZbin test video. The furniture reverberates the frequencies you can not even hear! Ï also own a 12 inch Klipsch/Jamo subwoofer: its over-resonating sound, without low frequency depth, is so BAD I replaced it with the SVS. And it was my best investment ever! That is my honest opinion and the price is irrelevant for so much quality!

hi. i have a sony 5.1 surround system that supports only dolby digital & dts & lpcm connected to sony tv via arc. i use the surround when playing 4k movies on samsung k8500 4k player. my question is should i set the audio in the tv & dvd player to pcm or bitstream unprocessed? i heared that bitstream is used only for high end surround systems like those who support atmos for example. need ur advice please.

I did some movie tests between Dolby Surround and DTS Neural X. I found that DTS Neural X was much better, more detailed , much clearer and better sound seperation. Dolby Surround was muddy in various parts of different movies but DTS Neural X was so much more clearer, especially dialogue. Also, the Dolby Surround mode is overused in the rear speakers which can be distracting when watching movies but DTS Neural X the surround audio coming from the rear speakers was not over done. The movies I tested were Star Wars Rise of Skywalker, Tenent, Beverly Hills Cop 3 and Halo TV Series.
