sam messed this up badd. Never made his move. Caitriona is a good person. Raised well. private, kind, unpromiscious, unmaterialistic, modest, very beautiful, looking for a life partner. The one woman he gets to do work with, have fun creating a magical series with on set for years, and doesn't make his move. Probably traumatised by his own upbringing with regards to marriage. Early on in the season 1 or 2 if he have made his move knowing the show is such a hit with so many books to adapt, their financial futures secure, and yet nothing from him. Should have been easy for him to know that caitriona will not be one to make the first move, she is clasically liberal open-minded and still guite seemingly conservative when it comes to dating, man needs to step forward first. i doubt caitriona would have rejected him back in 2014 or 2015 if he did want her, they would be married and with kids together by now.

A true shame sam never made his move. He probably regrets that now or later. Caitriona is quite a balanced person it seems. she is very successful yet she is not seeking a man of extreme value or status, comes from a good family, private and reserved. Sam i know, didnt have the best childhood, but its sad he didn't recognise earlier that caitriona would been a great wife to him. Instead of bouncing around from woman to woman, fearing marriage. they could had a version of ryan reynolds blake lively marriage. A prenub between the both of them would just be a formality as they both so good at their craft, and so obvious cait doesn't care what her husband makes.
