Thanks! Goal weight (more like a goal ballpark) is between 150-160 lbs. 155 would be great, if I get there and want to push it a little more that’s cool as long as it feels mentally healthy, too.

I was thinking of that, but I can’t use it as a timer when I use it for video. I use the iPad sometimes as a timer. The numbers are big enough that I can see them when I squint 😆 I also finally realized the instructions were on the back, they’re terrible instructions but at least me and the orange rectangle are a team again 😄🟧

Choosing to indulge occasionally is good as long as you don't over indulge. Indulging helps with decision fatigue (which does happen and leads to binging.). This lifestyle, if you're in it for the long haul, has to be sustainable....

I get that, I should probably talk about it, but part of this is finding the sweet spot between discipline and flexibility. Being rigidly disciplined causes me to burn out, and too much flexibility just becomes overindulgence. So finding that middle ground where I’m like “Whomp whomp, I ate an ice cream covered waffle at a festival and now I’m going to work out” is challenging, but worth it.

Why fruit is better than junk sweets: Fruits contain natural carbs that will be more slowly absorbed due to fruits' high fiber content, so whole fruit causes fewer spikes in your blood sugar and is less likely to be overeaten than other sweets. Though fiber is in most fruits, the best sources are apples, oranges, and berries.

I totally get that, but at the end of the day I’m kind of a sugar junkie. So part of this has been freeing myself from that. Fruit helps, but honestly? Upping my protein has been the biggest game changer to preventing sugar cravings.

I do, no worries! I think at Day 90 I’ll post my “catalyst” pic that got this started back in March. It is… unfortunate. You’ll see what I mean. But honestly, I feel awesome. I do have excess still, but even that’s different. Better circulation, muscle is building underneath. And in my mind, fat isn’t good or bad, it just is. But being a fatty (nickname with me and my McFlurry friends) is a state of mind. A really fun state of mind that I still want to visit, just not live in anymore.

And it’s close enough to the edge that health is a concern. At some point I might do a video with my… “oh shit” photo that let me see how far I’d gone. But I want more progress first.

Realized fairly recently that I’m probably diagnosably ADHD and it has answered some questions, as well as given some hacks, regarding consistency. @@GetfitStayfatWhatever Yes, still in the gym; 5 Days a week minimum. I went from 265 to 220ish. My goal is 180-200. I'm semi jacked. Abs are almost visible. I was yoyoing pretty hard by cutting calories but I would eat and go up and down. Now my calorie deficit is not as drastic and the weight loss is slower but consistently trending down instead of yoyoing. So slow and steady wins the race.
