Everytime i think I've seen everything about that horrific day, I see more footage of what those poor innocent people went through. My heart aches for them and their families to this day. 😢

In these pictures from 9/11 they are still alive... just one hour before their death, but still alive...one last time.

My grandfather retired in 1981 from Hyrdamatics and my stepdad Van Maroney in 2007 - he started in 1976, my mom hired in 1978 and took the buyout in the early 90s her name was Sherry. I have such great memories waiting in the car for my family to walk out of the far end Gate 1 Gate 3. My grandfather was Ervin Gunnels who passed away in 1996 and Van in 2008. My mom and I still talk about Hydramatics and reminisce, which brought me to this video. Thank you for making it.

I’ve been around those machines all my life, have stuff from the auction and saw where many of them ended up. Sad America gave up all its manufacturing and prosperity so a few corporate buffoons and politicians could be rich.

Good job Simon, don't know if you remember me or not. Worked with your dad for awhile near the automatics. Gundrills. Grinders , Excellos and such. I think you had started working in the Crib back there. Good presentation and the music is good too!

My grandfather, Clarence (Irish) Gillespie worked in the Hydramatic plant from the 1940s until he retired in 1967. It was a long drive to work for him when he lived in E Detroit.

We lived in Roseville up until 1969 and our dad did that drive for a few years also.

What’s with the shoes being left behind, workers did the same thing at the GM plant in my city when it stopped production in 2009.

I don't know when it started, but I had always seen it at our plant. It just kind of turned into a tradition.

I honestly don’t see how America didn’t see this coming🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️... a few days before this they called the freaking president and told him they were striking and they were going to highjack planes, who plays about something like that 🥴🥴then a few years before a bomb went off in the parking lot... these buildings didn’t stand a chance 💔💔...I swear America is so dumb...but may we never forget the lives taken on this day💜🕊.

The firefighter with his head down at 3:11 said it all.. 😓 in a nutshell for that entire event of devastation.. Exhausted, but crying in the heart. 💔 What a touching and deeply beautiful video you put together. From the normal beginning, to the tragic end. 😓 Had me feeling emotional and touched at the same time today. Freedom tower, WTC footprints..You summed it up.. full circle.. Thank you!!
