You need to spend some time with a coach to learn how to use proper technique- you are gonna hurt yourself. Welcome to the community!
@monkeyb18204 ай бұрын
are you still rowing? Darkhorse and 'training tall' are the best for advice on form. If you ge really tired of it, I don't think you could recoup all your money (like people were doing in 2020), but I think you could get around 700-750 for it with no problem. That's considerably better than most exercise equipment. But keep at it, and change it up (i.e. instead of always doing something like a 5k, sometimes set it to do 500m with thirty seconds of rest intervals. Do 5 or more good quality intervals. Lots of possibilities.

You should work on your rowing technique, btw.

Hi! It looks good, a bit expensive here in my country. Do you have more cats? I have 2 girls and one is the “problematic” who wakes up at 6 am with energy, so, among other things, some people suggested an automatic feeder… but will it work well with 2 cats? Tia

I appreciate you putting this video together… a longer review would be nice- maybe after you spend more time on your C2 you could post a follow-up. Be patient with yourself and stay positive as far as your rowing form is concerned… I’ve seen much worse, and we all have to start somewhere. I know I did. 👍👍 P.S. Check out YT videos by Austin/Training Tall, Shane Farmer/Dark Horse Rowing and by Concept 2 on proper rowing form… you can’t go wrong with any of those.

How accurate of a cut does it do? Shopping for a new paper cutter…
@EarthNorthCreates6 ай бұрын
I've never had a problem with accuracy. I cut a fairly high volume of items each week and it is year two going strong. I will be using it for quite some time.

Looks great! Do you apply to finish before or after you cut the stickers?
@EarthNorthCreates7 ай бұрын
If you apply a spray finish apply before you cut. If you apply a holographic laminate then I like to rough cut the stickers out and apply them individually to the laminate while it is upside down. Does that make sense?

Check a few rowing videos e.g. from dark horse rowing. Your form is not existant. No connection to the drive, wrong posture. Nothing exactly special for a novice, but something you should stop immedeatly, before establishing bad habits.
@EarthNorthCreates7 ай бұрын
Part of me wants to thank you but your execution is kinda mean. I got this machine as a mamma with a lot of neck and back problems, really wanted to build some strength. Even doing it 'wrong' has TOTALLY changed things for me. I am building mobility and strength with a low impact exercise. I am in WAY less pain. I am so happy with the Concept2. I may look up some videos on how to do it 'correct' after the sting of your words wear off. :(

@@EarthNorthCreates he's right though. Your form is terrible and you're risking injury. No need to take it personally though, none of us know the correct rowing technique until an experienced rower demonstrates it for us. You still made a very informative video.

That is totally fair. I am just saying the delivery of the message could use some work. I did look up his suggestion last night. I even did a workout video. @@liverleef

@@EarthNorthCreatesI agree with you the comments were blunt and they could have worded it nicer. I really like how positive you are and I love your enthusiasm. I haven’t started long myself and I do recommend a Training tall playlist for beginners attached below His name is Austin and he is really very positive and not at all blunt He really wants to help you and he is fun too There’s 20 days of follow along videos of 20 mins each on the playlist He teaches rowing form as a lot do. What I also like is he doesn’t use a concept 2 which make a lot of noice trying to listen to instructions from a teacher Meaning you can hear him talk, teachers using a concept 2 it is hard to hear them talk It doesn’t matter if your rower is different He will talk about 3 important measurements on your screen Average pace per 500 or watts are 2 For the concept 2 average pace per 500 are the best to follow And stroke per minute is the 3rd measurement and you have that on every rower Keep a note pad and pen to write down the measurements your reach when he tells you per row Below is the playlist kzbin.info/aero/PLLUHQF6YtiAR5_I-PgP5Ksm9PpiEYznUe&si=PwiWQbifU5kQuB8e The next video is the technique you are trying to achieve to give you an idea of what these people are talking about They are right you can get an injury if you don’t learn proper technique I had no idea about this until I watched Austin’s videos The playlist will help you kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6PWgaJpas-jp80si=D9sXWirzVTQxr7V9o Stay patient and I think in a couple of months you’ll get the idea of the technique I had no idea how technical Rowling is It’s worth to learn correct technique from the beginning or it takes much longer to change bad habits which is very frustrating Stay positive and you go girl! 👏 Take care 🙏

The rowing community is filled with Debbie Downers. Your form is fine for now. Eventually you may want to pull all the way to your rib cage, and keep your heels a little lower. The most important thing is just do it, and trying to do movements that don't feel natural is apt to be discourage. And by all means, get a Bike Erg (and a Ski Erg). The nice thing about the Bike Erg is it frees your hands so you can multitask. The Ski Erg works your triceps and anterior chain, which is a nice complement to the rower that works your biceps and posterior chain.

I have a HP envy photo 7858 , do you know if I can use this paper too to print stickers?

I'd say the paper is defiantly on the thinner side, so a lot of printers probably could handle it. I couldn't say for your specific model unfortunately.

The older models like the Model C can either fold in half or be stood upright on their front feet and a little pad right in front of the fan.
