I quite liked the alcantara dash in this version. And the dbs logo on the bucked seats. Which that was an option in the production run

You could get a lightweight sports bucket seat with Alcantara - it looked a little different. You could also put a special request in for Alcantara dash - both are extremely rare.

Very interesting video, I wish I could afford this beauty and enjoy this wonderful engine and gearbox team ! But what about the notoriously unreliabilty of this transmission ? Is it related to the wrong use of the transmission ? Or is it "natural" ?

Yes, we wanted to put right those rumours. There were gearbox issues with very first cars back in 2001 but these were quickly resolved. The car continued in build until 2007. These days, if used correctly, they are very reliable and enjoyable.

It is very common for these cars to be part of a multi car garage. You just need to look around this end of the market - a large chunk of cars have super low mileage because the owners spread their driving across many cars. It makes them a great buy for the next owner.

The DB12 has understated, reserved beauty. Can't see that changing for the GT model line. Equally, more overt styling could be used for more extreme models in the range.

The following bits are different....the engine (it is a V12), the suspension, the infotainment system, the interior, the gearbox, the drivetrain, the brakes, even the Aston Martin wings etc, etc. Not sure what is the same as the DBX - possibly the indicator stalks.
