Thank you so much for posting this video. Our Girl Scout service unit had a mother/daughter paint night last night and used this video. Everyone’s painting was customized with an inspirational phrase that was important to the artist. What a great experience. I don’t see where I can post the photo but wanted to thank you! We will be painting more of your tutorials over the summer.

Love this painting and will be doing with our Girl Scout local troops. About how long would this take? I know part is sped up and need to leave time to dry for background. Thank you!

That all depends on the scouts and canvas size!!! I would definitely use an 11 x 14 canvas for Scouts . I think in total it will take about 2 to 3 hours. If they are older, Scouts , closer to two hours. Younger or chatty or Scouts might take three.

I work pretty quick so the paint is still wet. If you need to add a bit of water or more paint on your brush if needed.

I do not prime my canvas, but I use a lot of paint! Try watering your paint down a bit, it helps make it smooth

Cute idea! My son’s girls are coming to stay and I believe we will work on a long canvas putting their initial in the middle and working in flowers, vines etc. I will let them scroll through your videos to choose what they want to add. Everything is so easy to follow. 👍

So much fun! My family and I did it this Christmas. Our only complaint was the tip you gave for finger painting. Since we used our finger it caused and uneven amount of paint so when it was time for eyeballs and ornaments the paint just mixed together 😢 but other than that it wa super fun. Thank you !

Dry time is important and sometimes messy! I am happy you enjoyed the rest of the video. Finger painting is perfect for circles, but keep a hair dryer or give it time to dry next time. Have a wonderful new year!

Hi, I started my Snoopy last night, but I had to stop at Snoopy because I don't have a size 10 brush, so I substituted it with a size 8 and didn't work properly nor did the 6 round. Sorry, just seeing this! You can trade out a lot of different brushes. Just be sure to use a light hand. You can barely touch the canvas with the bristles and have a smaller line. I hope this helps.
