Thank you for your beautiful art, storytelling and your voice, and the music going along with it! Thank you for pointing out the respect for other beings here as well. I love that selkie folklore.. It kindles a deep longing.

I caught five minutes of a movie years ago and it mentions that story. The line I clearly remember is: when a selkie finds her skin not chains of iron not chain of love can keep from the sea.

What a fabulous video! It's nice to hear the stories told well without overly romanticising them. The art takes it to another level.

Thanks for the information on Bríd and showing ways how to do the crosses. I have started with a triangular cross right away because I preferred the look of it. You can see some versions (small to large) in my current video/vlog. Anyways, it might be better to start off with the square version, maybe I will try this out someday as well. And I liked what you said regarding it is not about the look but the process. This applies to a lot of areas in life, doesn't it?

I heard the Seal King story many, many years ago. I had already forgotten all about it until tonight, when a different memory from my childhood brought this story back to my mind. Thanks
