This is quite possibly something to look into. I think a difference is that the software described in this video was designed with the goal of enhancing creativity in mind, while social media may be able to enhance creativity as a unintended side effect.

I am teaching in Asia where the value of creativity is increasingly recognized as a key attribute. I'd like to take this simplified version. Do you have a plan of some kind to further explore creativity?

Feel free to use this video if it's helpful in teaching the concept; this is why the video exists :) I will occasionally make videos about creativity related topics. The videos so far have been on concepts I found weren't well explained. I have a few ideas for possible new videos.

Great stuff, some great references in there. If you didn't mention it in this video is useful to know that there was a study that looked at using the CAT to measure works created under varying circumstances, which opened the doors for studies to use work that already has been created, not specifically for the task set by the researchers. As long as it is work that can be compared for its creativity, it's game. Can't remember who did this but I can find out...

Awesome, I look forward to it. I like it because it doesn't hinge on any one creativity theory, it just asks experts to rate work in comparison to other work based on their own definition of creativity.
