The air intake came with hoses. They're just rubber vacuum hoses though.

Mine was loud at first but it’s still going after at least a year but now it’s quiet and the Xbox didn’t want to turn on when I pushed the button on the controller. After 5 minutes or so it turned on after trying a few times. I have it plugged into a surge protector so I only have it powered on when I use the Xbox otherwise I’d hear it running all the time even when the Xbox isn’t running.

My dad got his Xbox one power supply bricked and he got one from Amazon I told him but he still got it, if is Xbox gets Fucked and he tries to use my Xbox I will tell him to not do that and buy him a Xbox one S

Only thing you got to do is turn the battery loose for about time to get back in the car and hit the brake pedal you're ready to go when your battery

2:38 for anyone watching this in the future....that little circular button above the "P" park? Take a small screwdriver and remove that plastic piece. Place a screwdriver down the hole and you will be able to shift into any gear with the car turned off. This holds true for a lot of vehicles.

Mine I got was off Amazon by a trusted seller is it loud yes but yours shouldn't be that loud lol. The one I bought is a little louder because it has more cooling in it but not as bad as that. My power supply almost never gets hot and keeps my Xbox nice and cold. So if you get a 3rd party one do your research and make sure what your getting is trusted and well known and do your research. Plus don't get power bricks on ebay that's just asking for trouble.

Can you put a link for Microsoft original power supply for EUROPE??? They dont have nothing dude(rainbow colors on plastics for controlers and controlers - they dont sell power supply on original webpage more of that they dont have links to THAT PRODUCT) - we can buy a fkin power supply from them - I dont find a Microsoft PHYSICAL Store in 4 countryes from EUROPE (update the microsoft assistant dont find eyther online on that 4 countryes)- Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Osterrich - I' talk with official suport guess? they can help with that for now - SHAME ON YOU MICROSOFT - it is not discriminacion in fact???

@@Cdogg2233 Aw man thank you so much for the reply!! I just bought this last week bc of your video. Thank you for the heads up about the hose and the clamps will be purchasing those. One more thing as far as the filter Is it washable? How many uses can you get out of it before buying a new one and if you did buy new ones where did you get them from?

@@carlosc.2653 Filter is reusable. I used k&n recharge kits to oil the filter. Basically just maintain it like a K&N filter.

When comes to power supply, definitely it's not the thing that can be cheap out, whether for home consoles or PCs (if want to build a PC). Better to spend more for it and find the original or reliable one to prevent damage to system.

Thank you for this video; it led me to the problem on my 2008 Legacy. However, I found it's not a defective solder joint on the resistors, it's a defective plated-through hole on the board. The wires go through the holes and are soldered on the opposite side as the traces. The solder wasn't flowing through to the trace side of the board, and the plate-through was defective, so the wire didn't make connection. I re-soldered the wires on the wire insulation side, and it fixed the problem for me. This explains why so many people failed the first time. All that pressure on the wires when you take it apart and put it back together makes the joint work, at least for a while.

Old ass reply but I'm assuming you mean the hole has a plating and the solder isn't flowing into it?

@@Pain1x Not exactly. I'm saying that the plating is supposed to go all the way through the hole to the other side, but it doesn't because the plating is defective. So the solder can't flow through, and this is why it's a bad connection. If the plating were all the way through the hole like it's supposed to be, the solder wouldn't even have to flow all the way through the hole to make a connection. Technically, though, even when the plating is done properly, the solder should go through to the other side anyway. I hope you understood me this time. If not, I'd be glad to give you a reference to some KZbin soldering tutorial that would show you what I mean. I'm sure there are some out there.

did this man just blame a game crashing on his power supply? also he knew it was 3rd party when buying it off of ebay so its kind of a dick move to ask for you money back. you knew what you were getting and it worked. xbox doesnt really sell power supplies seperately and they cost more than they are worth.
