Hey! I found your version only a few days ago, and really enjoy the sincerity that you've put in it. We're even lucky that this song was recorded by another artist and we have the lyrics for it, so there's a way to interpret how Elvis may have recorded his vocals. I wish the same was true for "Color My Rainbow" as well, for instance, or that the composer's demo for "Memory Revival" was available so we could have an idea of how it would sound with vocals (the lyrics for the latter are out there, at least). Oh well, I guess, most of all, we're lucky to hear the original instrumental tracks recorded for Elvis! I really love the TCB rendition of this song. Thanks for your interpretation! Heard a Version of this Song on a Prince Tui Teka Cassette a long time ago 35 years approx n now cant find the damn thing,Neat Tune too by him, Was reading that he performed with Abe Philips at Pub Gigs ages ago, Maybe Prince Tui recorded it on the Cassette as a Tribute to His Friend as it was the First Song on that Tape, If any one has a Recording of Tui's Version could you pse post or msg me pse..I'm prepared to pay for it, Cheers John- .

Omg this brings back memories of my childhood, my sister used to go to Lasswade primary school. We stayed right across the road from the school. I used to watch the kid's out playing at playtime. 🙂

I seen Elvis Car at a movie theater in Mobile Alabama.. I was 9 or 10 but I wanted to see the king!! (That’s what all the teens called him) well I am Black and back then Blacks kids could not go to that theater I was across the street and I Wanted to see The kings car! The kids were lined up 6 blocks to see this car that was roped off. My cousins said “you can’t go over there!” Well I did see the white teens kissing and licking that car saying we love you Elvis!! Some got hit with a Billy Club some were dragged off of Elvis car! But I did see his car from across the street. I love Elvis!

So, you went to the trouble of having authentic photos of Elvis. So why not go the extra mile and have authentic Elvis singing the vocals, instead of someone passing himself off as someone he is not.

There are many videos on shortbread on YT. I have tried a couple. They were ok, not exceptional. Qs: What is the size of the baking sheet please? Also, some recipes only use butter, sugar and flour while others also include rice flour, seminola or corn starch. Can you please explain what the additional ingredient does? Thank you for this video. Wish final result could have been included.

Perhaps the words were just too much for him personally , as we know he wasn't in the best state of either mind or body at this time. It's a soul searcher and tear jerker for sure.. Had he recorded it I'm certain it woukd have been a hit.

Greetings Sir, Made my 1st Small Batch of Shortbread cookies following your Recipe. Turned out Perfect with just 1 Minor Flaw - The Cookies are Perfectly Buttery but not Sweet Enough. I miscalculated Quantity of Sugar to be used. Is there any Hack to Increase Sweetness of these Baked Cookies now🤔 Will Sprinkling Powdered Sugar over them work or should I coat them with Liquid Sugar Syrup🤔
