Love these big old girls with the large 3 inch exhausts and large truck.mufflers on em. Sounds great. The slight missing sound when going up that hill was due what they call carbie spitt where everytime the carbie gets a fuel spitt you get a small miss in the engines firing. I used to have that alot when I had my Chrysler valiant with a large 265 hemmie in it.😮

Don’t jam it in gear it will egg shape all the crosses in the U joints causing drive line failure

You won’t get that back fire if you let it idle for 5 minutes or so , all those old 6 engines did that back then 😉

Seattle station no.9 uses the old Rayovac 9v battery with a cat jumping through the 9. That would be cool on the door. You need to get the sound outside so we can hear the exhaust. That was not driving it hard you should have seen them driven by the firemen. Back when they were in service. They probably only got 1/2 mpg.

With this camera angle we can watch the door move around while you are driving. My 54 Chevy Pickup did the same thing.
