Give some details on dialing in the shocks. I have the same setup but am having a hard time tuning them.
@dylanlobbestael4 ай бұрын
Hey man, I am sure I will get more practice on setting them up soon with the help of my friends. From what I understand though, compression isn’t as important as rebound. You tend to set compression to handle the spring rate you chose. If you remove the rebound from the front of the car it will actually help transfer weight to the rear. So set the compression how you like it and adjust the rebound to gain rear grip as well! The rear compression is the same mentality as far as I know, and the last event we drove, I actually stiffened (slowed) down the rebound in the rear shocks in order to gain grip in some sections of the track where the car felt like it was floating. Let me know if this helps at all, I’m still learning as well!

Hey man, with the cut-ring head gasket it is recommended to retorque the head at least once in order to seat the cut ring into the head.

Whats the reson behind the change from m54 to m52?
@Cj4yy5 ай бұрын
One big factor is cause the m52 is a iron block instead of aluminum m54 block
@dylanlobbestael4 ай бұрын
The M54 is a good engine if you want to keep power around 400WHP, maybe more if you only street drive it. Drifting just seemed super harsh on these engines, but I probably demanded a lot more out of it than I should've.
