Wow, i fondly remember the MK2 scort. Being flung around the interior down single track lanes in cumbria in the 1980s. Passenger door still flexes allowing daylight through the top of the door seal. I remember that view from passenger seat. Fantastic 👍 Subscribed immediately

Great driving. Really enjoyed watching your feet too. I didn't realise you clutched for downshifts on Sequential boxes. Well done avoiding the Capri. That Anglia was rapid in a straight line. Feel sorry for that Sierra, hope it was just a blown hose and not something serious. So many lovely Fords on show. I appreciate also the trip after the pitlane to the paddock? Had no idea.

No you don't have to use the clutch on down shifts ...just a habit . Maybe I should start learning left foot braking

The Anglia was BRILLIANT, they knew how to build a proper car. Not as good as Brodie's Mk 1 Boss Cortina, with the 4.7 V8, winner of many Formula Libre races at Brands Hatch. But a car from the days when you didn't need to see a badge to know the make and model.

Just found this yesterday, I did brands full circuit (big bollock circuit) on a gsxr, but this was epic. How you missed the capri on the first lap was class ......you saved your self a fortune right there. Just watching was edge of the seat stuff. I had to keep telling myself to relax as I felt the adrenalin pumping through me ;-0 .......You will never forget that day .......brilliant we done !!!

As I watched that pokey little Anglia (I see it has had a heart transplant), it reminded me of backyard mechanics turned racers, who shoehorned Ford and Chev V8s into anything.. Anglia, Morris Minors... Anything small. For a side joke : we heard tell that Ford Motor Company had a life long guarantee on that rear window.... That no bird shall ever succeed in shtting on it. 😂 But they were great cars for the age, and the money. I had my own few Fords, and did most of the maintenance myself.

Yeah it's n RSR built by SHP..a spaceframe chassis with a fibreglass MK1 Escort body so basically a silhouette...very quick cars
