Demo-crazy is fuckin-a right! Fela had his finger on the pulse of it and it's a beautiful thing. Interesting to note that he was treated just as Jesus was said to have been, and even murdered by them with "AIDS." The good guys get some good shots off to be sure, but the bad guys always seem yo win, unfortunately, even in my private life, not just on the world stage. Now, twenty years later, though, we have a bunch of nameless political criminals stuck back in the past and Fela's timeless music left.

When the student makes a mistake there’s teacher will correct him and this saying is applicable in this time.Africa is doing something wrong and the people that brought the democracy are not correcting us ❗️

The term/ideology of modern Western democracy first appeared in ancient Greece. It stems from the word δῆμος; dêmos, “ordinary citizens, common people from a district, in a city-state”) and kratos; “power, strength”. That does not mean Fela was totally wrong, democracy in ancient Greece (Athena) really was nothing more then a small group having certain political rights such as voting and govern (around 13%) Also, a lot of democracies nowadays do look more like a crazy demonstration 😂 the real ‘power to the people’ meaning does rarely truly apply.

At 60, Nigeria should not be groping in the dark. There have been numerous wasted opportunities, no doubt, but it takes just a right turn at any second for a vehicle in the middle of nowhere to find its bearing.
