Vozvrashchenie (The Return) and Leviafan (Leviathan) by Andrey Zvyagintsev were great Russian movies as well.

I can absolutely vouch for Come And See as the most powerful war/anti-war movie you'll ever see. This kind of movie could NEVER come out of Hollywood.

Five Russian movies? Rather one Russian and four Soviet movies three of which directed by Tarkovsky. There is a huge difference between Russian cinema and cinema that existed in the Soviet Union. Soviet cinema is a very distinct phenomenon that produced a lot of gems!

Yeah Tarkovsky is one of the greatest artists in cinema, but there are plenty of other highly interesting Russian directors. Kozintsev, Eisenstein, Vertov, just to name a few...

The Intouchables 2011 was a masterpiece we enjoyed back then, the soundtrack is just amazing, the movie, the actors, its really a good movie.

Great list! All great French movies...but you're missing some amazing ones. Diva (1981), La Femme Nakita (1990), La Grande Illusion (1937), Man Bites Dog (C'est Arrivé Près de Chez Vous, 1992), and The 400 Blows (Les Quatre Cents Coups, 1959) to name a few.

I liked Oddity, it was strange enough. I love religious horror, so First Omen waq great, so was Immaculate., and Apt 7A. Longlegs is somewhere in between. Psuedo religious, but also cop drama. I haven't seen Exhuma. But Abigail is incredible! It's a perfectly fun, scary, and pretty horror movie. Good video.

Hands down, the original Howling is the best werewolf movie of all.

At first l thought you was just going to talk about the obvious Chinese movies that I’ve already watched so many times, but then you came up with two new ones. Internal Affairs & in The Mood for Love. As l love old classics. I look forward to watching this one.

Good collection of Chinese movies . Although, I’d add “HERO” To this list . That was absolute visual masterpiece and fighting scenes were stunning too

Bah, most people minutely invested in foreign films would come up with Ip Man, Crouching Tiger, and Infernal Affairs. They're great movies no doubt, but "Farewell My Concubine" should have been on your list. It's a much better movie than Ip Man. "Raise the Red Lantern," "Ju Dou," "Red Cliff," "Lust Caution," and "Curse of the Golden Flower," deserve an honorable mention.

"A Chinese Odyssey" (I and II of course, there is no III).

I would highly recommend Raise the red lantern by director Zhang YiMou.. The artistc flair and the complexity is not found in any of the beyond 2000s films anymore. The heydays of Chinese and Hong Kong cinema is the 90s in my opinion.
