Can we please pray for the proposal of my brother-in-law, Manuel Enriquez and for the proposal of a good friend of mine are Adan Gonzales. They passed away yesterday.

When, as a convert, I first heard of purgatory I remember recoiling at the idea of purgatory. Actually, it was worse than the idea of hell even. I had no exposure to faith growing up. I had a vague idea of God but no knowledge of Jesus. I made my profession of faith in 1971.

The whole month of Nov, you shuld pray for the departed souls in our family , for those in purgatory n those who do not hv anyone to remember them. Always pray for the departed souls when you have any function or celebration in the house, church or any community get-togethers. They all need our prayers n our love n rememberance for them will release many souls quickly to heaven. They in return also pray for us when closer to God n I find I am truly abundantly blessed with peace n joy.

Thank you bc in NYC there are Buddhist monks passing out bracelet beads and whenever they see me I immediately show them my crucifix and one said,”Catholic?” I said yes and you are more than welcome to come to church. And he kept persisting to give me the bracelet and that it isn’t a problem and I said ,” no i cannot mix with other religious practices.” But I too kept on inviting him and he said,” no.” So I was like well, then have a nice day.

im guessing this was my guardian angel, but I once got in a bike crash. I was going 28mph on my bike, and I managed to hit a bump on the road that sent me flying. I had rode my whole ride with my helmet, but for some reason I decided not to in this part of the journey. I remember one second I was on the bike, the next one I was sliding in the ground. but not once did my head hit the floor, or did I experience some whiplash. im guessing it was my guardian angel, protecting my head. I put that poor fella in overtime sometimes. Feel bad, but super grateful for my angel.
