Hello ! Your work is very good ! your work is really good! I have a question, in fact the school interests me a lot did you do only one year there or several? I am looking for a 3D school but I understood that in this one there was a lot of 2D too (because I do not have the level in 2D so is it a problem?) Thanks in advance 😁
@MinskiArt29 күн бұрын
Hey thanks! I did 2 years there and yes if you do game graphics production or animation as a major there's quite some 2d art, but if you're determined, you can definitely get to a passing level in those classes. I had classmates who really didn't know how to draw at first and they ended up doing quite well.

Great job coming up with interesting & inexpensive projects! It was fun to watch & live vicariously through you. I've been meaning to try out Blender as well. Grease Pencil looks like a good place for me to start, since I've worked with vector graphics in Affinity Designer. This would be useful for blocking out shapes & trying out different camera angles and layouts to plan drawing compositions (especially since I'm better at organic shapes than architecture).
@MinskiArtАй бұрын
Ohh thank you so much! I also just made the switch from Adobe to the Affinity Suite but i'm not that good with vector stuff haha. Yes Blender is honestly a great program to know and so much fun too! I hope you'll enjoy it when you try it!

HOW????? HOW DID YOU MANAGED TO GROW MUSHROOM doing everything in a creative [but not correct] way. How did you not get any contamination when you were not sterile in the process? I'm amazed. Congrats! This is a huge achievement! There are so many rules at growing mushrooms that it often looks like this difficult methodic process, but it was so easy for you 🎉
@MinskiArt2 ай бұрын
haha thanks! I was surprised too but also my harvest wasn't that big, so there's definitely room for improvement

I guess some mushrooms are very tough guys :D ....I could grow mushrooms in my cellar and I was so amazed they could do it xD
@GaryDaBussy2 күн бұрын
There are actually ZERO rules to growing mushrooms. You need spores and a substrate, that's it. Humidity, temperature, lighting, cleanliness, and all those details are just to maximize yield, but you can grow mushrooms by coughing on some grains and tossing them in a trash can

Kiwis tend to take a gap year between school and uni - get a job or go overseas. The idea is to work out what you want to do. I have taken in a lot of young German backpackers and so many of them had gone through uni and were dissatisfied with the topics they chose or after studying went to work for a year and were not happy with their career choices. Don't feel bad for dropping out, if you find you are not enjoying something it's time to do something else if you can afford to. I have had about 20 jobs, anything from financial planning, to selling furniture and running a secondhand charity shop and my own art galleries. I am 62 and now doing my degree in counselling. Keep moving if you don't enjoy what you are doing. We are so blessed to be living in countries where we can and when you are young and without a family or house you are free to move around. Go for it!

Hey! Thanks so much for the kind comment🙏 I think i'm figuring it out right now, but I realized that it's one thing to find out what you would like to do in life and another to find something you can make money with in life haha, now I guess I have to either find a way to combine them or make compromises🙈

And your video and presentation style is awesome. Honest, open fresh and fun. It was a great watch. You are obviously being promoted by the YT algorithm as your video was in our feed. Wow, that "town" must really be ghostly i.e., invisible. Where are all the houses?! And the town hall?! And the church?! School, anyone?! The hardware store/grocery store?! Have they all vanished into thin air?! Do they all reappear after a storm like magic?!! That place never was a town, not even a village. All you've shown in terms of buildings was the ruins of an abandoned homestead, and one quite isolated at that... But of course, the clickbaity title worked, you got me watching it, after all...
@MinskiArt4 ай бұрын
Hey! Sorry that it sounded so misleading, but there's actually 6 ruins of buildings with actual walls and some smaller leftovers of walls, so it was a bit bigger than just a single family living there. Also at least here in Germany we have some very tiny villages that still count as their own village with no other infrastructure, only residential buildings. So to me it didn't seem far fetched that this place once was a little village too. Besides that, we also referred to the place as ghost town a lot, so choosing this title really didn't come from a clickbaity place🙈 I hope you still enjoyed the video a bit anyway
