this cost about 6 bucks. if you order at a chinesse place, its 27 dollars. these videos have saved me so much money.. no reason to go to an overpriced chicnesse place with low quality food and terrible service anymore.. keep this coming

It depends on the water temperature. If in a rush, use hot water to shorten soaking duration. It will take about half an hour if room temperature water is used. Anyway, when the kelp is placed into the pot, the boiling water will continue the rehydration process.

Thanks for commenting ! The purpose of the flour batter is to seal up the spring rolls so they won't open when we fry. Please kindly refer to video at minutes 3.05 and you will see the process of doing.

The entire process should take about half an hour. When the Bayam is in, turn off the heat when the boiling resumes.
