octavia to me is the most polarizing character in this show by far. she is a COMPLETELY different character at the end of the show and I like that the writers never forgot Lincoln’s massive influence on her. She went from being a scared girl living in the floor to the best fighter from Skaikru and her transformation in Blodreina is amazing.

Bjorn Ironside, evolution from a great character to some unrelatable crybaby b****. The writers should really be ashamed with themselves for what they did to some of these characters. A lot of it made absolutely zero sense too. The same guy who went out into the wilderness to survive the winter just to prove he could do it ended up sitting around moping because things weren't going his way. They did the same crap to King Harold. There was a time when I wouldn't have minded if he ended up coming out the victor of everything but then they turned a goofy, hardworking loveable character into a guy who cared less about his goal of becoming king of all of Norway and instead he just wanted to be Bjorn Ironside. The same guy who kidnapped a woman and refused to lay a hand on her, even when she broke his nose in front of everybody, ended up just forcing himself on woman. It's the same guy who respected woman and their wishes so much that he literally tried to become king of all norway to get a woman to marry him.

Bjorn in factual history, is the only other member of the Ragnarssons that could feasibly say he was the most successful. Him and Halfdan set the bar extremely high. As for Ivar? Nothing more than a warmonger. Would've made a fine general and had his father's sense of war. But Halfdan and Ironsides, they met Ragnars wishes of having a home to call theirs where their people could grow
