@@intavolatura Listening to your new album has become a new daily habit, Stefano. In short it's indeed inspiring, ruminant and evokes all sorts of emotions all of which I haven't been able to decipher yet as I'm not a musician. So more intense listening is necessary. By the way, my wife - when accidentally listening to some pieces - went “OmG, how interesting is this?”. Your album takes the listener onto an exciting journey from renaissance times into modernity. Via your artisan interpretation it becomes very soon clear the past is not gone but only waiting to be opened by the proper key. By contrasting the works of both geniuses Kapsberger and Ambrosini the story is vividly told, even for non-pros. The theorbo is the guide and a good companion even taking us to both worlds. The sounds of Venice further contribute to making this compilation a unique experience. Your album in this way clearly reveals how close and inspiring the past can be, not only a distant murmur, and how many stories there are yet untold. I'm very much looking forward to getting to know more of the stories you want to tell. 😊
