so i was telling a story about back in the day at the golden horseshoe they had a stripper that looked like larry bird and was curious if it was still around which i saw it was then i wondered about the huddle club... cant find any info why the huddle club was closed? did they have problems or just decide on a name change to attract more roadside traffic?

@@THISGUYISHIGH101 LOL, yes the Golden Horseshoe is still there. The Huddle Club closed a long time ago, not sure why. Then it became Divas. Someone reading this may have better info. The building was torn down a few years ago.

I know I'm late to this video by 4 years but I worked for Ford and want to inform anyone with this year escape that they had engine block defects and as long as you complain before 100,000 miles Ford will install a new engine free of charge. I hope this helps someone. These cars have their issues but are decent overall

Thanks for posting. We vacationed in this part of West Virginia a couple years ago and really enjoyed ourselves. Charles Town and Shepherdstown were our main places. The plan is to get back to that state this year and explore more of the southern area, primarily the New River Gorge. I appreciate the videos!

Surprised that only two months until Xmas and no snow yet. Does it flood in Charles Town? How fast is the internet and is the electrical grid reliable? Just curious what it’s like over there. Thanks for your input
@JasonIsOverHere
@JasonIsOverHere 10 ай бұрын
Most of the time this area will not see snow until December. Charles Town does not really have flooding but a few miles away are the rivers Potomac and Shenandoah. Look up Harpers Ferry, West Virginia flood. Many historical floods. The electrical grid is good. The occasional bad storm or snow event can knock it out. This is rare. Where are you from? Thanks for the message.

It is too bad you did not cover anything about the Thomas Shepherd Gristmill that has a 40 ft diameter Fitz Water Wheel that is still intact and does run. Thomas Shepherd founded Shepherdstown, WV. The stream that flow through the town is called "The Town Run," it is fed by multiple large springs just north of the downtown. The Town Run also powered the Shepherd's Grist Mill before emptying into the Potomac River.

This is actually how traffic lights should be. The green on top represents the color for the heart chakra which is above the red (rood chakra). However, the lights have been intentionally reversed to throw off the natural balance. Let us fix all of the traffic lights to look like this one 🔱

2:51 For anyone interested, the cause of the crash was a misunderstanding between the pilots and air traffic control. The pilots thought they were on a radar approach, which means they thought ATC was guiding them in via radar and monitoring the airplane's altitude. In actuality, the pilots were on a radial approach, which was some kind of signal guidance system for landings that existed in 1974. The pilots should have remained at 1800 feet altitude until they were past the mountain range, but they didn't. They erroneously thought ATC would tell them if/when they were losing altitude. ATC obviously couldn't tell them because the plane wasn't on radar, BUT their instruments were telling them they were losing altitude by sounding alarms at 500 feet and 100 feet, which both pilots ignored. In fact, the first officer, who was flying the plane, complained about the altitude warnings and believed them to be a mistake. They were trying to figure out what was "wrong" with the altimeter when they suddenly crashed into the mountain. Unfortunately for them, the altimeters were correct. This information was taken from the video produced by the Mini Aircraft Investigation YT channel if anyone wants specific details.
