Your comments are turned off on the beard tutorial, I was wondering I have some mesh, but it’s a bit stretchy will it still work?

Hey I've never worked with worbla or any thermal plastics, what would you recommend to start off with?

Thank you for the info. I've only worked with eva but I think I'll use Eva and thibra to upgrade some cos. also, thank you for being professional and not have a super annoying intro.

I hear you're supposed to wear a professional respirator mask and goggles when heating thermoplastics, but am conflicted as to which ones will be efficient for working with Thibra. What mask and goggles do you use?

In regards to tools for working with Thibra, what kind of scissors and detailing tools do you recommend? I see you have the steel clay sculpting utensils for detailing. Is there a brand you suggest?

I've used worbla before, and I found it a bit hard to cut. Is thibra easier to cut? I used just plain old scissors..

Would you say that it would hold up to being used to cover foam for large props (ie, a large sword like the Buster Sword, etc), or would it be too brittle compared to worbla? Thanks for the review! It's very informative. :)

Can you use rubber or silicone molds with thermal plastic?

Very interested in those high-res photos! I predict thibra will have an advantage when it comes to painting, very curious.

+cosplayis4ever This is Erin here! I haven't painted my headpiece yet but I'm going to post about it on my facebook page when I do, hoping for Saturday. I don't think it needs any actual smoothing or sanding honestly so I'm planning to do just a spray plastic primer (my favorite is Krylon Fusion in matte black) to make sure the paint sticks. I did a bit of dremeling to smooth out some little toolmarks and fingernail indents I made while making it but the plastic is so smooth it just doesn't need any more than that!

I'm very curious about the price point. The high price of worbla, I feel, is detrimental to budget cosplayers. If this thermoplastic is inexpensive then this would be a great product to open the door to first time/ budget cosplayers looking to make their first set of armor.
