Actually i seem to find pretty good grip in the mud. Not the clay mud but the sand haha. The tire grips deeper in the soil

Not that I’d ever buy it but I want to see what it does for a big squishy big that normally pedals like dogshit. Get all the traction of low anti-squat but great efficiency on smooth rolling stuff

More expensive toys you dont need to effectively bike. They should spend this much effort on making bikes and components affordable.

Totally agree... Evenit takes time, and I have a family. I do a frame bearing celan/grease/torque aroundevery 2 months. Fork and shock small service (fork lower leg service shock air can service) monthly, brake bleeds monthly (with piston cleans)drivetrain cleanwith cloth and brake cleaner after every ride.. then lube it. Cleaning the stanchions and shock after every ride. It doesnt take too much time.

Re-lube a dirty chain? Madness. Bad advice.
@antoanangelov567219 сағат бұрын
clean and then re-lube. I believe that's what he meant
@FullSenderson19 сағат бұрын
@@antoanangelov5672he said wipe off and re-lube. Wiping cleans the outside of the chain. The lube is going inside the rollers not on the outside. If you are re-lubing a dirty chain you are creating more problems. This is very basic and applies to anything chain driven.

Some lube is better than no lube...
@acg118916 сағат бұрын
@@FullSendersonI don’t think that’s true. For waxed chains you are supposed to dry wipe them. Then top off with drip wax. That’s standard and been standard. You only strip the chain of wax when you intend to do a full dip. Maybe one every month or two depending on mileage. For wet lubes stripping the chain every single ride with degreaser would be insane. Wipe, then a quick run across the chain links with wet lube to top up, then a quick wipe off of excess oil is totally fine. You should only need to degrease a chain every few weeks or so. I ain’t breaking out the chain clean tool every single ride.

If you take a shock like a Fox DPS or DPX2 or a fork like Rock Shox mid range offering and you don't service them yourself you're usually one or two service away from totalled. 😅

I run a dhr2 front and rear in a dd casing. Ended up with a 2.3 front and 2.4 rear which is a bit against the norm but i like it. Front end is light on steep climbs anyways so i want something to hold up to roots and rocks and not deform on high g loads in turns.
