Last time I was in Traverse City it was filled with drunken tourists fighting and locals gave us wrong directions multiple times.

I vacationed there for a week in September, 2021. My whole visit was Awesome, to say the least! I had been wanting to visit TC for years, especially during National Cherry Fest. I'm planning on returning this September, to take the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive, & eat a great steak in TC at a couple of the finer restaurants.

Grew up in northern Michigan. About an hour and half from this breathtakingly beautiful area. If you ever get the opportunity, in the summer, pick up some "black sweets", and tell me how good they are.

Yeah, me too, cause in Atlanta MI here, we don't get michigan cherries, we get Washington state ones at Freddie's, and been for yrs. It's been months since we've been able to buy any cherries. Traverse city is lame to not supply all of michigan with bargain prices. We are closer than Washington guys. Lame and sellouts come to mind. $ hike fixing is my guess. A state law needs to pass for this crap. Locals first bill.

My aunt's and uncles owned sleders tavern back in the '70s it wasn't nearly this nice then LOL They later opened up the flapjack shack restaurants there were several in traverse City as well as other places in Michigan.
