The block doesn’t get blamed for the tip and reaching back. That’s why off blocker pulls to cover tips.

She’s playing the angle shot because they’re running a perimeter defense. The block is suppose to protect that part of the court.

I think the guy who is low toss jump serving is intentionally hybriding the ball so hitting float off of spin toss.

Idk what your plight against setting middles early is about but I’ll let my MB get blocked on straight plays from good passes cuz I want the opposing middle to be more worried about the quick sets over breaking to the pins early. Giving up Two points set one isn’t really a big deal.

your commentary is definitely great and the cuts are very smooth, i enjoy the way you commentate the game. overall, just keep it up, cause these are great videos, but maybe you can creach a greater audience by advertising videos like these on your instagram or elsewhere for more views. other than that, great job bro

I'm pretty sure Gabi Garcia Fernandez for BYU was serving harder a few years ago. I was at the Hawaii Vs. BYU game at Hawaii when he hung 8 aces on the home team in 3 sets.

I watched several of Gabi's matches against Hawaii. While he was serving mid 70s regularly, 76 mph was the highest confirmed speed I could find. If more teams tracked it, I'm sure he would have the record.

I remember that match. Hawaii had no answer at the time, and really had to work hard to win 3-2 the next match. Unfortunate Covid cancelled that season for BYU- they just moved to #1

Only a few teams even measure it and they have only been doing it for a couple years, so if the internet can't produce evidence of a faster serve, then 76 mph is a record and its hard to argue otherwise.

I believe the WR is 134 km/hr (83.2 ish)held by both Wilfrefo Leon(Cuba) and Ivan Zaytzev(Italy) Grozer(Germany) also have one around 132(82mph). These are official that I've seen on KZbin
